Love Is In The Air

Hello!

It was a chilly 2 degrees this morning, thankfully it has warmed to 14 degrees, downright balmy!  BUT at least the sun is shining and the sky is blue.

Today's card will be entered into the Challenges at Curtain Call, Kissing Booth and Simon Says Monday, H Is For....

They have a sweet little inspirational photo!

To build the layers I started with white card stock, stamping the pattern in black, the stamp set is from Gina K Designs, Pretty Patterns 2.  I then place a sheet of Vellum over it, to soften the look.  The center focal image, LOVE is from PTI, Love Notes set, a 2 stamp process, 1st stamped in Real Red and then in Tuxedo Black.  Stamped on white card stock and mounted on black to hi-light it.  Using the banner die from MFT Blueprints #12 die set, I cut out 9 little flag banners in different prints, 5 with heart prints.  I added 2 different colors of Baker's Twine and 2 mini black adhesive pearls.

It's bright and bold and full of love!

Thanks for stopping by, appreciate you doing so!  Oh and in case you are wondering.....more snow on the way this weekend AND Monday.....geesh!  You know I will be crafting in between shoveling!

Enjoy~~

  1. What a great job you did with the inspiration photo! Awesome paper patterns and sentiment with Valentines day around the corner or you can even use it for a wedding card! I guess that will make two of us crafting because we're getting more snow this weekend, but no snow shoveling for me. Stay warm sweet pea! Have a Blessed day! XO

  2. What a masterpiece. You combined so many stamp sets and elements to create this card. At first, I didn't realize that the banners were on the top. I thought it was design paper. So fantastic to use different coordinating papers. The vellum to soften is very nice. Great take on this challenge.
My stamp set that I ordered came yesterday. the two day delivery is sweet. I will have to wait for the Tailored Expression one, when I get home.
