Masculine Thank You

Back again on the Dies R Us Blog
Today I am sharing a Masculine Thank You Card.
Super easy to create with the help of some amazing products from the Dies R Us Store.

Other than the card base I used all different colors of Glitter Paper to jazz this up a bit.
I used the Memory Box Birch Trio to create my wintry forest.  There are so many Birch Trees to choose from, the hard part will be deciding which one to pick.
Here are your options:  Birch Trees.

My absolute favorite bird is the Red Cardinal, here I have used the Impression Obsession Birds die.  It is a 2 pack die set and you can easily make them Black or Blue Birds just by changing your Designer Papers.   My little picket fence is Amy Designs Picket Fence, it's just perfect to enclose my woodland forest.

I decided to add a little sentiment and thought it would be perfect nestled in the Sue Wilson's Rustic Twig Wreath.  Once I die cut the wreath in Brown Glitter Card Stock I cut it a 2nd time from White Card stock and placed that in the center, which allowed me to stamp my sentiment.  Perfect!  A few dotty stamps all around to add an air of whimsy.

Inks in Raven Black and Dove Grey.

Here's what I used:

Wine A LIttle Bit

Good Morning!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at:  Papertrey Ink, Framing Sentiments and Images, Simon Says Monday, Grunge It UpSimon Says Wednesday, Make Your Own Background and Scrapy Land, Anything Goes!

I have always wanted one or two of those 'stain-like' stamps, you know for making coffee rings and wine stains?  Duh!  You can just make your own using a glass and ink....who knew?  lol

I used the Papertrey Ink Uncorked stamp and die sets.  To create my background I used a small juice glass and dipped the bottom onto my ink pad, coating it all over and then just stamped on to my White card stock.  I also used a piece of masking tape, smooshed that out on to my ink pad and then placed it on the White card stock, smoothing it out again and peeling back.  Bravo Burgundy ink.  I then spritzed Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Gold all over.
That's about as grungy as I can get. lol

I created my frame by using 2 different Spellbinders dies, Classic Ovals and Perfectly Pierced Frame, which is solid, so I used the Oval to cut out the center.  It left a very thin border for the frame.  I snipped some Foam Adhesives to pop the frame up and placed it around my fabulous sentiment!
I mean, that is fabulous, right?!?!  Wine bottle and glass die cuts, bottle accented with a Gold label made from glitter paper and a few 'randomly' tossed Gold Sequins.  Done!

This will make for any type of Celebration card....promotion, birthday,
anniversary.....you get the idea.

Thanks so much for popping in!

Enjoy~~

Super Mom

We all know one....we all love one....we all aspire to be one!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at; Altenew and Simon Says Wednesday, Add A Die.

Here's what I created!

I used the Magnolias For Her Altenew stamp and die set.
I knew I wanted to water color them, there is just something about Altenew florals and water color!  I just used Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry and Peeled Paint, so easy!

I used the PTI Mix And Mat Flourishes die for my backdrop.  I backed it with that pretty shade of green/grey to match the Inspiration Photo.  My card base was also spritzed with Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Blush.  Sentiment heat embossed in Gold Powder on to a little Vellum strip.  Rhinestones and Sequins for pretty accents.  Plus the Rhinestones hide my Glue Dots which hold my Vellum in place.

Love the depth and dimension!

This will be going out to a rather fabulous Super Mom I know and love.

Happy Birthday To You

Hello!

Another birthday card to share with you today, you can never have enough on hand!

This will be entered into the Challenges at; Power Poppy, Love To Sparkle and Simon Says Wednesday, Add A Die Cut.

Again, I was in a coloring kind of mood!

I used the Power Poppy stamp set; Short Stacks
This is one of my most favorite images to color.
Copic Markers.
Itty Bitty Flower Sequins in Yellow.

The Grid Frame is by Simon Says.
I cut from Yellow card stock and backed it with Black so it would POP!  I also backed it with Fun Foam so the colored image could nestle inside of it.  It adds quite a bit of dimension in this manner.

Images, inside and out, coated with WOS to sparkle and shine.
VERY difficult to capture on camera.  You can see a little bit on the bottom package.
Sigh.

Nope, not from this angle either......but it is there!

Thanks for stopping by!

I used the Power Poppy stamp set, Potted Primroses.  Colored with Copic Markers.

Spellbinders Perfectly Pierced Frame die.
Sheer Ribbon.
Rhinestones.
WOS all over the images, inside and out.

It's so hard to pick up the sparkle, but boy oh boy does it glisten!

I love that sweet little pot of flowers.

Piano Easel Card

Good Morning!

My Mom will be turning 88 this May so I have been playing with Birthday Card ideas.  88....hmmm doesn't a piano have 88 keys?  Although she did not play the piano she did play the organ.  This may work....I am sure I will have to explain the connection, but that is part of my Mother's Charm lol

This card will be entered into the Challenges at; Stamp TV, The Envelope PleaseScrapy Land, Anything Goes and Simon Says Wednesday, Add A Die.

I found this video on how to make this particular card from Pinterest, you can watch it HERE.

Doesn't look like much here.....but wait for it......

Here it is starting to take shape.  I used the Gina K Designs products;
Massive Messages, Spring Parade, Simple Hearts and Just A Note.
Inks in, Raven Black, Pink Pirouette

Cheery Lynn Small Gardenia and Ivy Corner Flourish--cropped.
Yellow Bead Flower Center.
Plenty of room to write my loving message.

Amy Design Musical Stave die.
Spellbinders Label 8 die.

Decorated the envie with stamps and Washi Tape.

Added a Musical Note Designer Paper Liner.

Stamped Musical Notes and a bit more Washi Tape.

It does make for a lovely set.

This will go into the Mom Birthday Card pile, will it make the cut?
You'll have to wait and see!

Thanks so much for stopping by.
