Thank You

Hello.....possibly my last post of 2016.....maybe.

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Altenew, A Year In Review and Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

I chose October's Photo Inspiration:

I decided to do a bit of water coloring using my regular ink pads and a water brush.  Inks in Daffodil Delight, So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie and Wild Wasabi.  I used the Altenew stamp and dies sets, Magnolias For Her.

My flowers were first heat embossed in gold powder, as was my sentiment.  I also splattered some inks on to my background panel.  Yellow Enamel Dots for accents.

May you all have a happy and healthy new year!  Cheers!

Enjoy~~

Ho Ho Ho

Good Morning!

Just a couple of the very last of my Christmas cards, which I made back in October.

I am entering my Santa card in the Challenge at Simon Says Wednesday, Make It Sparkle.

I used this fabulous Skiing Santa, yes you read that right.....Skiing Santa, from the Power Poppy Action Santa stamp set.  Isn't he just fantastic???  After coloring him with Copic Markers and glittering up all his fur trim I fussy cut him out.

Using the Jack Frost paper pack from American Crafts I created my mountainous terrain, separating the tree line form the snowy mountains with a thin blue ribbon.  I added one of those 'action wobblers' to the back of Santa and placed him in mid air!  Stamped my sentiment and snowflakes.  Added a bit more sparkle using a Wink Of Stella Clear Pen.

Here you can see the dimension the 'action wobbler' gives.

And now you can really see this Action Santa IN action!  Such a cool photo!

Last Christmas card to share with you, and it's a Shaker!

This card uses the beautiful Power Poppy stamp set, Holly Golightly!  It's a Shaker Tag ON a Tag ON a card.....my favorite!  Images colored with Copic Markers.  I accented my holly berries with a white marker.

I stamped the tag image and then carefully die cut out the center portion.  My shaker bits are glitter and sequins. Then I stamped the holly all over my MFT Stitched Tradition Tags die cut and colored them.  Adding an eyelet and some pretty Christmas Ribbon.  I also added a Memory Box Twilight Snowflake die cut to mimic my Designer Paper background.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to 2017 and all it brings.  I don't know about you but I love turning the page of a calendar, let alone a year!

Thanks for swishing by......

Enjoy~~

Peace And Joy

Good Morning!

I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday!  We certainly did, counting my blessings as I type!

Once again I am playing along in the monthly Papertrey Ink December 2016 Blog Hop.

I totally fell in love with Bottle Brush Trees this year......swoon!

I made a bunch of Bottle Brush Tree tags using the Papertrey Ink stamp set, Joyful Christmas.  Bases and tree trunks heat embossed in gold and silver.  Inks in Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizzazz and So Saffron.  Sentiment from Power Poppy, Simple Joys, stamped in Black Licorice ink.

Gold and silver ribbons added to each one.

A little sponging on each tag.

And the perfect little sentiment added.

These were the little Bottle Brush Tree Ornaments I made for friends and family.  I decorated little wooden spools and corks to create them.  I had quite the fun obtaining my cork supply, wink, wink!  Ribbons, lace, beads, gold and silver twine and jingle bell accents.

I think they're kind of precious.

From previous post:

These were my client's gifts.

I always make a little trinket or ornament for family, friends and my clients each year.  Little snowy globes (glass light bulbs sans water).  Filled with a bit of snow and glitter and pearls and then just dropped in my Bottle Brush Trees.  Sealed them up and decorated a bit, adding ribbons and lace, sweet little jingle bells, hand cut flag banner with sentiment and another sweet little Bottle Brush Tree.  CUTE!

When shaken the jingle bells jingle and the snow blusters.

I really love these sweet little combos.

Thanks for hopping by!

And one last time for this year......MERRY MERRY!

Enjoy~~

Cup Of Love & Kindness

Good Monday Morning!
Back again on the Dies R Us Blog!

Happy day after Christmas!

Hope you all were able to celebrate with loved ones!

Now we can put away the festive reds and greens....YAY!

This card uses Spellbinders Captivating Squares as a base for my focal image, which was stamped and fussy cut out, the stamp set is Fill It With Flowers by Gina K Designs.  My teacup is topped with a pretty heart die snipped from the Homespun Heart, by Memory Box.  The ampersand is by Sizzix, Holiday Words Script.  The Kindness die is by Simon Says, but I love the idea of using the Curly Words Sympathy die by Die-Versions for a 'Tea And Sympathy' card.
There are quite a few of Curly Word Dies available.

I topped my teacup with the beautiful Small Gardenia by Cheery Lynn.  I also added different leaves using the Foliage 1 die by Paper Smooches.  Swiss Dots Embossing Folder for texture.  I colored some Seam Binding Ribbon with my Copic Markers and then heat set it.  Button and Jute Twine and Adhesive Pearls for accents.

Merry Merry

Happy Christmas Eve's Eve!

I don't know why I am posting and playing around, I really have lots to do, like the rest of you I am sure!  But these are little trinkets I made for my clients and they were so fun to create!  The cards I made for 2 dear sweet friends, my BFF's if you will.

The cards will be entered into the Challenges at; Scrapy Land, Let It Snow and Simon Says Wednesday, Make It Sparkle.

I found these fun little glass lightbulb 'ornaments' at Michael's.  The top unscrews for easy filling.  Added my Bottle Brush Trees, which I have totally fallen in love with this year!  Added 'snow' and glitter and pearls.  I placed a second tree on the top and decorated with sweet little jingle bells in pretty shades of blues.  A bit of ribbon and lace and a sentiment stamped in Bermuda Bay ink to complete.  Power Poppy stamp set, Simple Joys.

When shaken they snow AND jingle!

My cards use the Papertrey Ink Joyful Christmas stamp and die sets.  Stitched Traditional Tags by MFT.  Sizzix Holiday Word ScriptSnowflakes Embossing Folder by Darice.  Then of course I had to make them Shakers, cutting out the jar using the tree die.  The shaker bits are sequins and snowy glitter and this great Silver Glass Glitter by Stampin' Up!

I added Holographic foil to the jar lid and Holiday Script Word dies, using my Mini Minc.  Then I just kept grabbing things and loading it up.  Doily, Silver Twine, Adhesive Pearls, Jingle Bells, Lace, Sparkly Ribbon, and Sequins.  Let's just say they have a little heft to them!

I don't think these photos due them justice, they really are super pretty!

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!  I hope you find yourseleves surrounded by all whom you love!

MERRY MERRY!

Double D, Silver And Gold

Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge starts at The Double D Challenge Blog, and here is your Inspirational Tile:

Double D
Silver And Gold

My Designer Papers are Recollections, Michael's Brand, Ice Crystals.  This was a peer pressure purchase, all of my card making Gal Pals had it so I didn't want to be left out lol.   The background is silver with flourishes, reindeer, snowflakes and holly, it is sooooo pretty!  Using my Mini Minc Machine I added gold to the background and focal image layers.  I also cut this beautiful Fanciful Poinsettia Ornament out of toner paper and added Gold Foil too.  I placed it on to a Spellbinders Captivating Squares die cut.  Hanging it with Gold Ribbon.

I also added Gold Foil to this pretty Poinsettia die, by Impression Obsession in the same manner.  Pretty sparkly Ribbon and Adhesive pearls for accents.  I really love the elegant look of this card.

You have plenty of time to join in on this Challenge......I hope to see you over there!

Thanks for stopping by!

Pure JOY

Hello again!

Ever make, oh say about 45 hand made Christmas cards and then realize, hmmmm do I have one for my Hubby?  Geesh!

This card is for my wonderful Husband and will be entered into the Challenges at Scrapy Land, Anything Goes and Simon Says Monday, Let There Be Snow.

I used the sweet little Red Cardinal bird stamps from Avocado Stamps, Winter Fun.  I say Red Cardinals because they are my most favorite!  Images colored with Copic Markers.  I sponged my background creating a dusky sky.  Kept my snow line and then added some beautiful Birch trees using the Memory Box  Birch Trio die.  I sprayed them with a Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine, kind of love how they came out!

Added glittery and falling snow.  The JOY is by Sizzix, Holiday Words Script die.  Button and Gold Twine for accents.  Designer and Glitter Papers from my stash.

I also made QUICK and EASY Clean And Simple cards.  Six of them.

Super easy!  I sprayed my Kraft card stock with Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine and then splattered White Craft Paint all over.  It's a shimmery snowfall.  I hand cut 18 triangles from 3 different Papers/Card Stock and scored down the middle.  Swiss Dots Embossing Folder for texture.

Sentiment from Gina K Designs, Peace And Joy stamped in Black Licorice ink.

Quick. Easy. Complete.  If you look closely at the back left one, you'll notice that there is a blizzard happening!  Someone was a little heavy handed with the snow!  lol

Merry Merry!

Enjoy~~
