Hugs, Smile, Anniversary and New Home

Good afternoon!

I have a few cards to share with you today!

This first card will be entered into the Challenge at Gina K Designs Flag! You're It .

I chose the colors from Germany's Flag, I needed a masculine card
and thought these colors would be perfect.

I used the Gina K Designs Hugs Stamp and die sets.
Amalgam Black ink.
CuttleBug Honey Comb Embossing Folder.

MFT Border Notch and Party Banner dies.
Fun Foam.
Enamel Dots.

This next card will be entered into the Challenge at  Impression Obsession, Things That Fly.

I used the Impression Obsession stamp sets;  Raven Silhouette and Hanging Basket.
Inks in; Amalgam Black, Real Red and Wild Wasabi.
After stamping the silhouette I added Clear Embossing Powder
and heat set it, I also did the sentiment in this fashion.

Flowers were fussy cut.
PTI Scallop and Stitched Rectangle dies.

Fun Foam for dimension.

This next card will be entered into the Challenges at;

Stamping Sensations, The Earth Laughs In Flowers.
Penny Black, Summer Colors.

Today is our 31st Anniversary.
Typically I make a more masculine beach themed card,
but these Beautiful Day flowers just spoke to me!

I used the Altenew Beautiful Day stamp and die sets.
Amalgam Black and Fossilized Amber inks.
Copic Markers.
Heidi Swap Color Shine in White and Gold.
Black Paint Splatters.

Hard to see but the flowers are all arranged on a large die cut, as is the sentiment.
MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangles.
Black and Blue Sakura Glaze Pens on flower centers.
Wood Grain Embossing Folder.
Mini Gold Sequins.
WOS.
Fun Foam.

Sentiment by Gina K Designs, Heart stamp and die sets.

This last card will be entered into the Challenge at Scrapy Land, Anything Goes!

I used the Altenew Garden Grow stamp and die sets.
Amalgam Black ink.
Copic Markers.
Tutti Designs Cross Stitched Rectangles die.

Sweet little pots.
Sakura Glitter and Glaze Pens.

Gina K Designs Home Tweet Home stamp set.

That's it for today!

Better put the Champagne on ice!

Double D, Birthday

Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog.

Here is your Inspiration Tile:

I fell in love with the bottom right corner.

Here is my card:

I used the Power Poppy stamp set, Party Time!  Perfect for any celebration!
I stamped my image in Amalgam Black ink and colored with Copic Markers.  Die cut using Spellbinders, Classic and Scallop Ovals.  I then coated the entire die cut with Heat And Stick Powder, heated that and added Dazzling Diamonds glitter all over.
Heated a second time to seal it all in.
This will certainly leave a sparkle wherever it goes,
however it will all stay on the card! lol

I added some pretty Gold Foil accents to the inside and outside using the MFT Stitched Ric Rac border die.  This was a free gift a month or two ago when making a purchase. I also found some great mini gold sequins in my stash and 'randomly' added them.
Gold Twine.
Heart Button.
Sakura Gold Pen.
WOS.

Inside.

May all of your celebrations sparkle!!!

Double D, Tropical

Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog

Here is your Inspiration Tile:

I would have to say this is my favorite Challenge to date!
Every year we are lucky enough to go away to Aruba, and damn it if those Palm Trees just don't make me HAPPY!
Plus it's usually in the midst of a dreary dark cold winter....plus open bars....am I setting the stage???  lol

This card will be entered into the following Challenges:

Simon Says Monday, Make Your Own Background.
Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

Here is my card:

I used the Flourishes stamp set, Beach Life stamped in Amalgam Black ink
and colored with Copic Markers.
I also did some sponging with Distress inks to create my sea and sky.
Typically I have a difficult time creating 'scenes' but I think I got the perspectives right.  I had to stamp the beach line 3 times, centered and then a bit more to the left and right, but I think it worked out well.

I added Glossy Accents to the sand bucket and beach ball.

Ahhhhh a tropical get away!!!

It's good for the soul!

Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN!

You'll be glad you did as there is always a pretty prize up for grabs!
