Hello, Beautiful!

Good Morning!

Thankfully it was not a CAS Challenge....Phew!  I used the MFT Sweet Roses stamp set, colored with Copic Markers, sentiment from their Simply Fabulous Sayings set.  Designer Papers from DCWV, Floral Stack, don't you just love pink and green together, so bight, so happy, so Springy!

Many MFT dies used; Blueprints #12, Bracket Edge Duo, Fancy Flourish, and Open Bracket Border die (which I used the negative portion of).  Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.  Button and Baker's Twine for accents.

LOVE my layers!!!

Ombre CAS

Hello Again!

Sometimes I think I should type CAS as Clean And Simple?!?!  These surely are the toughest Challenge cards for me to make.  Yet, I persevere.....

per·se·vere

to
continue in a course of action even in the face of difficulty or with little or no prospect of success

PERFECT!  lol

This card will be entered into the Challenge at Simon Says Wednesday, Clean & Simple.

I was also going to enter it in the Challenge at CASology, Ombre, yet time got away from me.  That is why I chose the colors, especially the stamped sentiment.  I used paint chips for the punched butterflies.  Colored the Adhesive Pearls with Copic Markers and stamped the sentiment using Soft Sky, Pool Party, Tempting Turquoise, Marina Mist and Not Quite Navy inks.

Sentiment by Hero Arts, Everyday Sayings.
EK Success Butterfly Trio Punch.

Crazy clean and simple cards.....get me every time!!!  :)

Thanks for popping in, appreciate you doing so!

Enjoy~~

For Someone Special

Good Morning, hope you are all dong well.

Today's card will be entered into 2 Challenges at My Favorite Things, Sketch and Color.

Typically I don't work with children, but isn't she sweet?  lol

I used some of the new items I got from MFT, they were kind enough to award me with a $20 gift certificate from a Sketch Challenge with PageMaps.....thankyouverymuch!  So, I chipped in some more money and got a lovely little package of Happy Mail!  :)  She happened to be in the order, as well as that gorgeous little Flourish die and a few other things.

The stamp image is Pure Innocence, I Pick You and the die is Fancy Flourish, I also used the banner from Blue Prints #12.  Copic Markers and Enamel Brads.

Apparently sometimes Less IS More.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Enjoy~~

Key To Every Dream

Good Morning.....again!

Papertrey Ink is holding their April Blog Hop for their customers.  A time to show off some of your PTI creations.  You can find the details HERE.

I will also enter this card into the Challenge at Mod Squad Blog, Encouragement

PTI Photo Inspiration
Navy & Shades Of Pink

I used their lovely Daydreamer stamp set, an absolute  favorite of mine, to create this beautiful garden. Many inks used; Garden Green, Melon Mambo, Night Of Navy, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Pink Pirouette, Soft Sky and Wild Wasabi.  Navy Blue Ribbon Tabs, Sakura Glaze Pens and Sequins for accents.

When you can't get out and garden, stamping one is just as rewarding!

Thanks for popping in.

Calm Seas & Smooth Sailing

Good Saturday Morning!  Hope this finds you all well.

My card will be entered into the Challenge at Mod Squad Blog, Encouragement.

I made the background by using the 'watercolor paper and smooshing' technique, I believe that is the technical term.  It's when you place inks on your acrylic block, mist with water, and then smoosh it on to watercolor paper.  When I did this it looked like a stormy sea scene to me, so I went with it.  The image is by Inspired By Stamping, Pirates. The sentiment is from Gina K Designs, Enjoy The Sunshine, a great match!  Spellbinders Classic and Scallop Circle dies.  Holes were made with my Crop-A-Dile, Ribbon Tabs, and Enamel Dots for accents.

A fun masculine card.

Thanks so much for popping in, I am glad you did!

Enjoy~~

Onsie....Twosie....Threesie

Hello Again!  Intrigued by my post's title?  lol

This card will be entered in the Challenge at Simon Says Monday, Due Date.

Now does the title make sense?  :)

I used my Cameo and cut out 3 sweet little onsies from chipboard and Designer Paper, Anna Griffin, Isabelle Collection.  Hand cut banner.  Copic Marker colored Adhesive Pearls, Ribbon.  Sentiment from Gina K Designs, Basket Blessings stamped in Old Olive ink.

That's about it.....another card that will hold a generous gift card!

Thanks for taking a peak!

Enjoy~~

Lovely Lupines

Good Morning!  Happy Friday!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenges at Great Impressions, Easter Or Spring and Dies R Us, April Showers Bring May Flowers.

Oh My Goodness!  Aren't these the most gorgeous Lupines you have ever seen?  Love them!  They are from the Papertrey Ink set, Flower Favorites (told ya you'd be seeing more....and soon!).  I first stamped 5 of the Lupines on the card base and then stamped more which use the coordinating die.  The inks are Elegant Eggplant, Pear Pizzazz and Wisteria Wonder. Not too much of a recipe for this card, but I feel it has a BIG impact!

Thanks for stopping by.....now it's time to head out and check on the real flowers in my gardens.....things are beginning to POP up!  YAY!

Enjoy~~

Be Happy!

Hello again!

This card will be entered into the Mod Squad Challenge, Encouragement.

Last week I got my new order from Papertrey Ink, so happy with my selections!  This is the new floral set, Flower Favorites; sentiment is from their Pretty Petals set.  I also remembered to order the matching dies and the dies for one of my other favorite sets, Daydreamer.  The die cut base is Perfectly Pierced by Flourishes.  Designer Paper by DCWV, Fresh Floral Stack.  Inks in Always Artichoke, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Pear Pizzazz.  MFT Open Simply Scallop Border die, Spellbinders Beaded Oval die and Tonic Corner Punch.  I added a bit more paper piercing to each side, Ribbon, Copic Markers, Sakura Clear Star Glitter Pen and 3D dots.

I LOVE THIS SET!  You may be seeing a lot more of it!

Thanks so much for popping in, so nice to see you!

Cheers! Happy New Home!

Good Morning!  Another rainy April day, c'mon May flowers!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenge at PTI, White On White Die Cuts With A Pop Of Color.

I must say I was quite intimidated with this technique at first, and then I just rolled with it!

I used Papertrey Ink's Uncorked stamp and die set, I love these products! (for obvious reasons lol)  I die cut 7 wine bottles out, stamping only one in Bermuda Bay and Wild Wasabi inks, then covered the entire image with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, the sparkle and sine is AH-mazing! Sentiments are also stamped in Bermuda Bay. Die cut the sentiment banner, included in the set. Copic Markers used to color the small adhesive pearls to coordinate the color.

See that sparkle?  See that shine?  Yowza!

Thanks so much for popping by, appreciate you doing so.

Enjoy~~

Happy New Baby

Hello Again!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenge at Simon Says Wednesday, Make Your Own Background.

I made my background 'quilt-style'. Using 4 different Designer Papers I cut 12 squares and then adhered them all down on a piece of card stock in a pleasing pattern.  As we don't know the sex of the baby as yet, I went with the neutral color of green, seemed like a safe bet!  Sizzix Wildflower die topped with Button and Jute Twine layered on Spellbinder's Heart and Scallop Circle dies.  EK Success Tag Punch, which has been cropped and tied with Baker's Twine.  Stamp set is by Gina K Designs, Mommy To Be Diva set.  Images colored with Copic Markers.

I hope to hear what they will be having soon, so I can make a pink or blue card too!  Look at that baby, super cute!!!

Thanks for popping in!

Enjoy~~

Window Box 2

Good Morning!

Another Window Box Card which will be entered into the Challenge at Dies R Us, April Showers Bring May Flowers.  And I am thankful for that!!!

I created this card when I made the other Window Box card, so the instructions are the same for the first part;

I started by creating my wood grain background to mimic the house or shed you might find this window box hanging on. I used Distress Inks in, Antique Linen and Weathered Wood, and then some White ink as well.  I used an EK Success Border Punch to create the box portion, 2 rows of this particular punch.

The flowers were made using a Martha Stewart punch, but this particular punch is a bit different in it punches out only portions of the flower, so I hand cut them out, just had to snip a little bit away from the center on each petal.  I don't think I have ever used it properly.  I'll have to look that up.  lol  Sizzix Branch With Leaves die and Copic Marker colored Adhesive Pearls.

The sentiment is from Gina K Designs, One In A Million, stamped in Garden Green ink.

I really enjoyed making these Window Box cards.  They make me HAPPY!

Thanks for coming by!

Enjoy~~

Window Box 1

Good Afternoon!  Hope you all have some fun plans for your upcoming weekend! My daughter, soon to be son in law, and grand fur baby are coming down........wedding stuff!  YAY!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenge at Curtain Call, Bouquet.

I wanted to go BIGGER than a bouquet and made a whole window box!  I started by creating my wood grain background to mimic the house or shed you might find this window box hanging on. I used Distress Inks in, Antique Linen and Weathered Wood, and then some White ink as well.  I used an EK Success Border Punch to create the box portion, 2 rows of this particular punch.  The flowers are from PTI's Daydreamer set, and were stamped in Stampin' Up! inks in Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder, Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette and Garden Green (grass on the inside).   I stamped off on some of the flowers to create different shades.  All fussy cut out---but I just ordered the die set last night at 10 p.m. lol  Sizzix Branch With Leaves die.  Some of the flowers have been popped up on 3D dots to create dimension.
Sentiment from Gina K Designs, One In A Million stamp set.  Now if I could only get my window boxes to look like this!

If I am not playing in the dirt, I will be stamping an instant garden!

Enjoy~~

Time For A Cuppa

Good Morning!  Happy Friday!

Well for some reason I thought there was a Challenge out there in the atmosphere where you had to use a Tea Cup.....but I was incorrect, it was just a lovely inspirational card creation.  Oh well. My card does use a tea cup!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Mod Squad Blog, Wheel In The Color, hosted by my very good friend, Judy Woodland and for the MFT Sketch

I used the colors from this section of the Color Wheel; Yellow-Green, Blue-Green & Red Columns.  The image is from the Grab A Cup stamp set from Flourishes (because I thought I was doing a Tea Challenge lol) colored with Copic Markers.    The Designer Paper is by S.E.I, Dill Blossom.  MFT Double Dot Border used inside and out.  A wee bit of ribbon, and a layer of Vellum, which gives the cup of tea a steamy effect.

A simple little card, flat.....for easy mailing, gotta love that!

Enjoy a cuppa whatever to get you going.

Thanks so much for coming by.....the kettle is still on!  ;)

Enjoy~~

I used the stamp set, A Year Of Flowers 2 and Designer Paper, Watercolor Garden both from Gina K Designs.  Roses colored with copic markers as well as the adhesive pearls.  Leaves fussy cut out.  Corner Punch.

CAS Butterfly

Good Morning!

Quick post.  This simple little card will be entered into the Challenge at the Mod Squad, Butterfly Focal.

Using a Spellbinders Classic Circle die,  I made a mask and stamped the 'wordy' stamp from Gina K Designs, Botanicals stamp set into the circle.  The sentiment is from her One In A Million set. The butterfly is an EK Success 3 part punch.  I used purple and glitter card stocks and Vellum for the layers.  Added a trail of rhinestones and a larger one to top off the butterfly.

This card is already winging it's way west!

Thanks for coming by.

Enjoy~~

You Are Not Alone

Good Morning!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenge at Simon Says Wednesday, April Showers And/Or Spring Flowers.

I used the Gina K Designs stamp sets, Stately Flowers 8 and You Are Not Alone.  The Designer Papers are Authentique, The Gathering Collection.  Spellbinders Classic and Scallop Circle dies.  Image colored with Copic Markers, Sakura Yellow Glaze Pen and Stickles for a bit of sparkle. Rhinestones for accents. A simply stated sympathy card.  The flower is a Yellow Jasmine, but I chose to color it in orange shades.

A Is For Anchor

Hello!

Today's card was made for the Challenges at Simon Says Monday, A Is For..... and the Challenge at Dies R Us, One For The Boys.

I was inspired while perusing Pinterest!  The stamp set is from Neat And Tangled, Hope Anchors.  I masked off the anchor portion of the stamp and embossed it in white.  Then using a small Sizzix anchor die I made my own chipboard anchor. I glued 4 die cut layers together and then covered the entire thing in glitter.  The red stripes were made with a Teresa Collins Stencil.  2 large white eyelets at the top to run my white 'rope' through and a small navy ribbon to separate the blue card stock and the red stripes.  I also cut an anchor out of the liner on the inside of the card.  Adhesive pearl inside the top of the anchor....to anchor it lol

I absolutely love this sentiment!

Thanks so much for stopping by, I appreciate you doing so!

Enjoy~~

Celebrate & Shake

Good Afternoon!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenge at Simon Says Wednesday, Happy Birthday!

Using a Polaroid Cameo Cut I made my Shaker Card.  I found this video at Papertrey Ink years ago and it is the most helpful one on how to make a Shaker Card.  Even though I didn't have a die to cut my Fun Foam, it was so easy to trim and hand cut.  Designer Papers are by My Mind's Eye, In Bloom.  Inside Open Simply Scallops Border by MFT.

I stamped the large Celebrate from the Lots Of Lines stamp set as well as many smaller images from Folk Filigree on the inside of the shaker portion and Happy Birthday from Pleasant Plurals, all from Gina K Designs.  I colored some Seam Binding Ribbon (this stuff is a must have, colored with Copic Markers for ANY color ribbon!) in Heather and added 3 enamel brads.  The shaker consists of pink, white and silver glitter, confetti, and sequins.  FUN!

Thank you so much for coming by, I appreciate you doing so!

Enjoy~~

Birthday Blessings

Good Sunday Morning.......Happy Easter!

Today's card was made for 2 Challenges at Stamp TV, Color and Sketch and for the Simon Says Wednesday, Happy Birthday.

The Challenge colors were Blue & Orange, not a Broncos Fan, but I love these colors on a card!

STV SKETCH

I love the clean look to this card, probably because of the wonderful sketch.  Designer Papers from my stash.  I used the Fabulous Frames stamp set by Gina K Designs.  Spellbinders Classic and Hearts Circle dies.  I stamped the large butterfly image twice, once on the circle die cut and once on white card stock.  I colored the bottom image in a light orange using Copic Markers and then using more orange colors for the image that I fussy cut out.  I also added glitter using Versa Mark ink, Heat & Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds.  It is spectacular in real life.  I then popped it up on 3D pop dots for dimension.  I also stamped a small, colored, butterfly on the inside and added a notched border of orange designer paper to the top for accents.

Sentiment stamped in Tuxedo Black ink.  I was going to add some pearls or enamel brads, but I like how it turned out without them.  Simple.  Clean.

Check out all of the Challenges, still plenty of time to play in each one.

Have a wonderful day, with friends, with family, and some inner peace.

Enjoy~~
