Wonderful Friend

Good Morning!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenges at; Simon Says Monday, Things With Wings and Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

I used the Stampin' Up! products; Avant Garden, Dragonfly Dreams and Detailed Dragonfly.  I just bought the Bundled Dragonfly sets, stamps and dies and loooooooooooooove them.  The Avant Garden set was free with a promotion that ends tonight.  (I added a bottle of glitter to my order to bump it up over the required $50 minimum).

Inks in; Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette and Wild Wasabi.  MFT Cross Stitched Rectangles and rectangle die from the PTI Shakers & Sprinkles Kit.

Polka Dot Designer Papers and Washi Tape.  The floral panel is backed with Fun Foam to give it a nice sturdy feel.  Bee die cut, layered in Black and Yellow card stock and the wings are topped with Vellum.  Doily and Adhesive Pearls, which I colored with a Copic Marker, for accents.

Just a wicked fun card to make!

Thanks for buzzing by!

You Forever

Good Morning Sunshine--I fear that is the only sunshine I will see today.

This card will be entered into the Challenges at; Papertrey Ink, Curved Sentiments, Simon Says Stamp, What Are You Working On and Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

I used the Papertrey Ink products; Love Notes, stamps and dies, and a die from the Shakers And Sprinkles Kit.  The Designer Paper is also by PTI, Argyle Socks.  Not Quite Navy ink.

The sentiment, You Forever, is a straight stamp which I did curve and then stamped onto a Spellbinders Ribbon Banners die cut.  I also added a few little punched hearts to it.  The frame is backed with Fun Foam, so it is raised.  Candy Dots for accent.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this card is for my dear Hubby, his birthday is Monday the 3rd.  I bought 2 of those Anti-Gravity Lounge Chairs (whatever they are) for him and well for me, his and hers lol  Thought this card would be fitting for the gift.

Thanks so much for popping in, hope you all find a cozy spot to lounge.

Enjoy~~

Thinking Of You

Good Afternoon!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at; Stamp TV, Let's Get Inspired (photo inspiration), Simon Says Monday, Things With Wings and Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

I used the Gina K Designs stamp sets; Fill It With Flowers and Scripty Sayings 2.  I paper pieced the bottle image to match the vase in the photo.  Images colored with Copic Markers and sprinkled with a touch of fine crystal glitter.  I added a Sakura Glaze Pen to each flower center too.  Spellbinders Majestic Labels 25.

Sentiment stamped in Brutus Monroe Raven Black ink and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder on a Vellum strip.  If you look closely at the phot you'll notice a bit of gold, looks like it's on the inside of a glass/vase.  Using my Mini Minc Machine I foiled up a sheet of Toner Paper and punched out 2 small butterfly accents.  Glued them together and added a swirl of Adhesive Rhinestones for the trail.  Swiss Dots Embossing Folder for texture.  Adhesive Pearls.

Just another fun card to make.  Still chilly weather here so this is how I have been getting my 'garden on'.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Enjoy~~

Celebrate!

Good Monday Morning!

Back again on the Dies R Us Blog to share one last card with you all.

Today is my last post on the DRU Design Team, what a FUN year this has been.  I'd like to thank Dani, the owner of Dies R Us for this wonderful experience!  I would also like to thank our wonderful Design Team Coordinator, Darlene.....she was AMAZING at keeping us in line and focused. Darlene, this has been a pleasure, all because of you.  THANK YOU!

I wanted to create a White on White card, I haven't made many of these in my crafting career.  They are hard to photograph.  And after putting it all together I spritzed it with some Gold Color Shine.

This card measures 4 1/4 squared.  I started with a Spellbinders Captivating Squares die cut, actually 2 from this set, layered upon each other with a piece of Fun Foam in between.  My flower is a Small Gardenia by Cheery Lynn.  My foliage is by Paper SmoochesFoliage 2 and Foliage 3.  I also added 2 leaves from the Poppies die set by Frantic Stamper.

Lastly I added the Curly Words - Celebrate die by Die Versions.  A bunch of Adhesive Pearls for accents.  I wish I had taken a photo of this prior to spritzing with the Gold, it might have photographed better.

Here's what I used:

I made a base with the Papertrey Ink Shakers And Sprinkles dies.  Added a couple of pretty white birdhouses using the Paper Smooches die set, Bird Houses.  I really like how the white POPS!  Amy Design Picket Fence die and the MFT Party Banner die, all in white too.  The sweet little Mr. & Mrs. Robin birds are part of the Bird House die set.  CUTE!

Back Again!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at; Simon Says Monday, Layer It Up and Simon Says Wednesday, Use More Than One Die Or Punch.

I Used the a few different stamp sets to get the sentiment I wanted.  The 'you' die is from the Stamp Of Approval Beautiful World set, it's by CAS-ual Fridays, All About You.  The 'are' stamp is also from that set.  The 'beautiful' is by Power Poppy, the In Praise Of Sunflowers stamp set, don't you just love that font?

Designer Papers by Papertrey Ink, Classic Kraft and I think the Butterfly Paper is by Bo Bunny.  Large Buttefly die by Crafty Ann, Butterfly #6.  The smaller one is by Dies R Us, Butterfly #2 Set.  MFT Open Bracket Border die.  Calypso Coral ink covered with Clear Embossing Powder and heat set.  Vellum.

Thanks for flitting by!

A Happy Hello

Good Morning!  Happy Saturday!

Back again on the Dies R Us Blog to share an all occasion card with you today!

This card measures 5 1/2 inches squared plenty of area to load up with lots of pretty dies.  I started with a little stitching on my pretty Designer Paper.  Easy to do and adds so much interest I think.  The focal panel was cut using a Die-Namics Cross Stitched Rectangles die cut.  On either side of that I added a Die-Namics Dizzy Border die, which I split right down the middle, placing half on top and bottom.  This panel is also backed with a piece of Fun Foam, which makes the whole panel quite sturdy.

I created my circle frame by layering 2 different size Spellbinders Standard Circle dies.  Behind that frame I cut one of the Distressed Windham Collage dies by Memory Box.  I cut this several times making sure it was wide enough to cover the space of my circle frame.  I then topped it with the beautiful Row Of Poppies die by Memory Box.  These were layered Kraft on Black card stock.

One last die, the Curly Words - Hello by Die Versions.  This die is also layered, Green on Black card stock.  I also added the leftover Kraft poppies to the inside of my card.

Try using your dies in a manner in which they were not intended
and your dollars will go twice as far.

Here's what I used:

Memory Box
Distressed Windham Collage

Memory Box
Row Of Poppies

Die Versions
Curly Words Hello

This card will also be entered into the Challenges at; Simon Says Monday, Layer It Up and Simon Says Wednesday, Use More Than One Die Or Punch.

Celebrate

Hello again!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at; Papertrey Ink, Window Chipboard Sentiments and Simon Says Monday, Layer It Up.

I used the Papertrey Ink products; Celebrate die from Uncorked Words and lots of the little accent stamps from the Shakers And Sprinkles Kit.  I cut the word Celebrate 4 times and layered them together to create my chipboard piece.  Then I covered it with Versa Mark ink and Clear Embossing Powder to make it shiny.

You can see the dimension here, popping through the die cut 'celebrate' window.

Inks in; Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi.

I would recommend using a larger word die, if possible, with this technique.  Mine was a tight fit.  I cut the white base card stock twice more, a tad above and a tad below, just by a hair each time, to try and add a bit more wiggle room.  It's okay.

Thanks for coming by, I hope you find something to celebrate today.  Even if it's just buying some flower seeds when it still feels like winter. lol

Enjoy~~

Just Because

Happy Friday!

Just spent some nice quality time with my Mom.....I am so lucky!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at; Stamp TV, Flowers And Dots, Simon Says Monday, Layer It Up and Simon Says Wednesday, Use More Than One Die Or Punch.

I used the Gina K Designs stamp set, Fill It With Flowers.  I paper pieced and fussy cut out the Tea Cup.  Designer Papers by Pebbles, Garden Party.  My dies are; Shakers & Sprinkles by PTI and MFT's Dotted Scallop Border.  Sentiment tag is also hand cut.

I really love the mix and match of these Designer Papers......complete with Polka Dots.  A lone Adhesive pearl, colored with a Copic Marker and Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Pen for some added sparkle and shimmer.

Thanks for popping in, the kettle is always on!

Enjoy~~

Spring Begins

Good Monday Morning!  Spring begins today!  Yippee!

Back on the Dies R Us Blog to share a pretty Spring Garden card with you all.

I can't stress this enough, if you have the best dies that our Dies R Us Store sells, then you can surely create a beautiful card....no doubt!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at; Simon Says Wednesday, Bit O Green and Paper Smooches, Greenery ( Pantone's Color Of The Year 2017)

Here's today's feature:

Many, many dies used on this creation.  Let's start from the beginning.  I created my rolling hills using the Stitched die from Paper Smooches.  I then added the Burlap Border by Cheery Lynn.  I always try to look at dies from every angle.....sure it's a great die for adding texture, but turn it all around and see the different possibilities.....here it is now a pretty white trellis for my Spring flowers.  I then topped my 'trellis' with this fabulous Ivy Corner Flourish also by Cheery Lynn.  I die cut several and then snipped them apart, placing them where I wanted them to grow.

Then I added a white picket fence, isn't that every one's dream?  This Picket Fence is perfect, it's by Amy Design.  Adding a wheelbarrow full of pretty posies just made sense to me.  The Wheelbarrow is by Impression Obsession and was cut in silver and black card stocks, which were just layered together.  After stamping my sentiment, I still felt this needed a bit more, so I added the Lace Corner Deco H die by Cheery Lynn.  Sentiment stamped in Black Licorice ink, by Gina K Designs

 And now for some planting!

The pretty posies in the wheelbarrow are from the Large Madison Window set from Poppy Stamps.  I die cut the flowers and vines from different color card stock and filled my wheelbarrow.  All of the flowers, large and small, have seed bead centers.

The larger flowers on my trellis are Cherry Blossom Branch by Cheery Lynn.  I could have used the 'vine and branch' that came with this die but decided to use that pretty Ivy instead.   Adhesive Pearl accent, Flower Punch on inside.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Enjoy~~

Double D, Things That Fly

Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge starts at The Double D Challenge Blog, and here is your Inspirational Tile:

Things That Fly

Here is what I created:

I drew my inspiration from the balloon colors, Black and White.  I started with some pretty Designer Pape found in my stash.  The black center panel was embossed using a Sizzix folder.  Underneath that I added an MFT Dizzy Border die cut, splitting it down the middle, half for each side.  Topped each edge off with a thin White Ribbon.  Tying the whole panel on to the DP and card base with Sheer White Ribbon.

That gorgeous butterfly is by Cheery Lynn, Small Lace Butterfly With Angel Wing.  Cut in White and backed with Black card stock.  I then doused the whole thing in Dazzling Diamonds Glitter by Stampin' Up!  Ooooh that sparkle!!!  My sentiment is from Gina K Designs, Take Flight and was heat embossed in White Embossing Powder.  I hand cut the sentiment flag and only adhered it on the left side, letting the right kind of take it's own flight.  Butterfly Punch on inside.

Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN!  You'll be glad you did!

Thanks for flying by.

Enjoy~~
