Heartfelt Thanks

Good Sunday Morning!  Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Today's creation will be entered into the following Challenges:

Dies R Us, Fall #36
Mod Squad, Give Thanks
Simon Says Wednesday, Thanks/Thanksgiving
Tag You're It, Photo Inspiration
Stamp TV, 1, 2, 3 Make Your Own Recipe

Of course I was totally drawn to the birdhouses!

My Recipe:  1) Sentiment
                      2) Wheat Die Cuts
                      3) Falling Leaves

I used some of my all time favorite stamp sets from Gina K Designs; Autumn Beauty, Heartfelt and Home Tweet Home. (I probably call a lot of her stamp sets my favorite.....and it's true!)  Images colored with Copic Markers and stamped on the Stitched Traditional Tag die cut by MFT (truly a favorite die of mine!)  Button and twine and some burlap ribbon and one small enamel brad for accent.

Found this great paper pack in my stash by S-E-I, Dill Blossom.  Just had to stamp some wheat stalks/not quite sheaves in the background using Antique Linen ink.  And then I remembered a dear crafting friend sent me so many die cuts one day, pulled out the wheat ones....thank you Kathy!  If you ever want to see how to use die cuts and flowers galore just check out her BLOG!   Fantastic!

Thanks so much for coming by.  I did ALL of my chores yesterday so today I get to PLAY!  What's better than that?

Enjoy~~

  4. Too cute. Love bird houses too and you really know how to decorate a tag. I finally got two tag dies that I have not used yet. Today I get to crack and shell walnuts. We have a walnut orchard next to our house and after they harvest we are permitted to glean. Last year I had 35 pounds of shelled walnuts. Made great Christmas gifts. Hubby and I crack and shell them on Sundays while we watch football. Thanks for the nice comment on my blog. You are such an inspiration.

  10. Super cute tag with the sweet bird house. Aren't they wonderful? Love that you have the fern thing going on in the back ground behind that fence, and the leaves falling all around. And one of the things I like the best is that beautiful purple color on the card base, it goes beautifully with the other colors on the card, just makes them pop.

    1. I did! I typically add a strip of corresponding DP or a stamped image in the corner, just so it's not all 'naked' ;)
