Allsorts, Challenge #856, Embossing

Good Morning!   

I am sooooo excited to tell you that I am Guest Designing over at the

 Allsorts Challenge Blog.  

Challenge #856, Embossing.

You may use Heat or Dry Embossing for this Challenge.

And there is a fantastic prize up for grabs!

Here is what I created.

I used both Gold Heat Embossing and Dry Embossing.

Hero Arts With Sympathy stamp and die sets and

the Script Bold Print Background stamp, which I heat embossed in Gold.

Sizzix 3D Geometric Flowers Embossing Folder.

PFS Stitched Rectangle die and Jewels.

Power Poppy Soothing Sympathy stamp set.

Tuxedo Black ink.

Gold and Clear Embossing.

Copic Markers.

Foam Sheets and Squares.

Thankfully I don't need a Sympathy card just yet,

but they're good to have on hand.

Roses Of Green

Good Morning!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Power Poppy, Let's Go Green, Simon Says Wednesday, Bit O Green and WOW! Embossing Powder, Spring.

 

 

I used the Power Poppy stamp set, Everything's Even Rosier.  Stamping in Versa Mark ink and Black Embossing Powder I heat set my images. I then water colored them using Distress Inks and a water brush.  Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8 die cut panel.

 

 

 

Sheer Green Ribbon, Gold Twine and Wheelbarrow Charm for accents.  I also added some Sakura Glitter Pen and lots of Martha Stewart Crystal Fine Glitter for sparkle and shine.  This thing glistens!

Merry Mistletoe

Back again!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Stamp TV, Winter Chocolate, Simon Says Monday, Holiday Cards, and Simon Says Wednesday, Christmas/Holidays.

 

I used Pure Luxury Card Stock in White and then Chocolate and Tan Leather to represent dark and milk chocolate....mmmmm.  The image and sentiment are also from Gina K Designs, Winter Wonderland and Wishing You Joy Stamp Sets.  I thought by embossing in gold that could represent the foil in a typical box of chocolates, as well as the gold ribbon.  4 eyelets added for accents.  This is a nice clean card and may not need extra postage for mailing.....WIN!

Christmas With A Twist

Good Morning!  Thanks for joining me today. 

Flourishes has a great little Challenge going on, Christmas With A Twist, to make a Christmas card without using the traditional red or green.  With so many ink and embossing powder options out there these days, this type of Challenge is becoming easier and easier. 

I used the Holiday Topiaries set from Flourishes.  This is a beautifully detailed Christmas Tree perfect for gold embossing.  I embossed the image on Wine With Everything card stock from Gina K Designs.  The gold embossing and the rich color of the card stock seem like they were just made for each other.  I also did a gold embossed trim around the layering piece.  Added a little bit of paper piercing in the corners with gold adhesive pearls and a small gold trimmed ribbon.
