Thought Of You Today.....

.....And Smiled.

Welcome Back!  Papertrey Ink has been keeping me busy with daily Challenges and a glance back at their products through the years.

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Papertrey Ink, Past,Present And Future 2009 and Simon Says Monday, Favorite Tool.

Although I haven't sewn on my cards a lot I do love working with my little Janome Mini Sewing Machine and I have always adored sewing on cards!  So, today, right now, the Sewing Machine is my favorite tool.....I am sure it will change from card to card, wink, wink.

I fell in love with Betsy's card.  You may see her original Post HERE!

Brilliant right?

Here's what I came up with:

I used the Papertrey Ink products; Shakers & Sprinkles, Scalloped Rectangle die which I cropped.  Pretty Petals and Happy For You stamp sets.  Inks in Pink Pirouette and Soft Sky.  Spellbinders Long Classic Rectangle die which was also cropped and the entire panel is backed with Fun Foam.  Corner Rounder.  I sewed my background panel all around and then down the joining pieces of pretty Designer Papers by Pebbles, Garden Party.

Dies R Us Butterfly #2 Set, 3 layers, 2 in Designer Paper and the top one is Vellum.  Adhesive Pearl, colored with a Copic Marker, for accent.  Sheer Ribbon  tied all around the front panel while I made a little accent using Pink and White Gingham Ribbon.

Sentiment stamped on a Vellum hand cut flag in Pool Party ink and heated with Clear Embossing Powder.  Button accent on flower center.

We are in the middle of another Blizzard so playing with pretty papers, flower stamps and butterflies is a great distraction!

Thanks for flitting by.

Enjoy~~
