You've Got Moxie

Hello!  Quick little post.

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Stamp TV, I Can See Clearly Now (to use acetate or vellum), Simon Says Monday, Transport it, Scrapy Land, Add Texture and Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

I guess I am on a masculine kick.  To be honest this card came out better in my head than on my blog.  I used the Gina K Designs stamp set, Vintage Chic.  I created a Shaker card using acetate.  Black Licorice ink.   Spellbinders Standard Circle die.

Swiss Dots Embossing Folder for texture.  Ribbon, Twine, Button and Sprocket for accents.  Washi Tape.  Star Sequins and Black and Silver Glitter for Shaker bits.

Thanks so much for pedaling by!

Enjoy~~

  1. Donna, Donna! I can't imagine what this looked like in your head, because I LOVE IT on your blog! And masculine cards are soooo hard sometimes, so I think you just raised yourself to a new level of geniusness here. Who would've known that black and white could look so interesting? I am especially loving what you did with the bike wheels. How totally original and clever to make a shaker out of the big wheel. It looks really striking and you have inspired yet again! Thanks for always being willing to share you skills with us on our Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenges!

  5. You are so creatively clever, Miss Donna! LOVE how you incorporated the shaker detail. At first, (from the top photo) I thought you might have incorporated a globe in dark colors inside the front wheel to go along with the exploration and steam-punky themes of The Progressive Era! Then to see it is a shaker card makes it even superior, as that is the generation that truly started shaking things up, both in the US and abroad! I love this design with all the black and white elements, and the masculine theme. And Masculine though it is, it's a perfect card for women, too! Wonderful design, my sweet friend! xo

  6. Well I think this came out fabulously (is that even a word??) That background paper is so awesome, LOVE all the texture. Line are and polka dots, and then the shaker in the wheel. So stinkin' clever!!!! And the ribbon is just the perfect final touch with the cool sprocket. This is just wonderful!!!
