You Make My Days Brighter

Back again, just had to finish up my PTI Homework.

This will be entered into the Challenge at Papertrey Ink, Past, Present And Future 2016.

I chose Heather's fabulous card shown here, where she used the Painted Petals set.

And just now I noticed her stitching at the top.....oopsie!
Here is my card, sans sewing:
I used the Papertrey Ink stamp sets; Flower Favorites, Happy For You and Happy Hexagons.  Inks in Always Artichoke, Black Licorice, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz.  I didn't have a viny leaf stamp so I made do with the 3 leaf stamp that comes with the Flower Favorites set, which was kind of a pain in the neck as I had to keep masking it off, but I have achieved the look I was going for.

I have 2 inexpensive White ink pads, both were not any help in the stamping department.  :(  I decided to stamp the small flowers in Wild Honey Distress ink.  I also added some dots all over using a White Marker.  Iridescent Sequins for accents.  Washi Tape.
I can't believe I did not see that stitching until posting, I have been sewing all week on my cards.  I kept thinking it needed something along the top, and am mad at myself.  I suppose I could add it now.
Well all of my PTI Anniversary Homework is complete, it has been a lot of fun to create cards for this celebration AND I have actually cut into lots of that beautiful PTI paper that I bought--YAY!
Thanks for coming by.

  1. I love your card even though there's no stitching Donna!! It really is perfect just the way it is! Finally a few moments to comment and I've been scrolling through to look at all your entries, and oh my gosh have out done yourself! Lovely, lovely cards!! :0)

  2. Very pretty! You could add faux stitching if you want to!

  3. Oooh, so pretty! I love your pretty flowers and the little white dots are such a nice touch. You're so funny about the stitching. LOL! You always give me a good chuckle Donna! Your card is beautiful with or without the stitching.

  4. Gorgeous - I love the look of stamping on kraft, and the one layer look. And those white accents are PERFECT here, really makes the whole card pop. You have completed your self-imposed assignment well, my dear. Lots of work, but also lots of fun!! Good luck!!

  5. Fabulous take on Heather's card. I did not notice the stitching either. I can't believe how many cards you were able to do for these challenges. You are ahhhhmazing.

  6. It is still beautiful even without any stitching. I just love the bright colors and that you added it to kraft card stock too.

  7. So darn pretty, love it on the Kraft

  8. Love both cards. Your sunflowers are so pretty.

  9. Beautiful, great colors and I love the white highlighting you did too!!

  10. It's so lovely! The white highlighting looks great.
