Happy Father's Day Sailboat

Hello!

Hope you're all able to enjoy this wonderful Mother's Day.....whether you are a Mother or a Daughter I hope you all feel loved today and always!  I will be picking up my Mom later this afternoon, we are having Ice Cream Sundaes for dinner.....because we can!

The card I share with you now is a Father's day card, perfect for Mother's Day, yes?  lol  This will be entered into the Challenges at; Simon Says Monday, It's A Frame Up and Simon Says Wednesday, Going Dotty.

I used the Gina K Designs stamp set, By The Sea 2.  Inks in Raven Black, Dove Grey,, Night Of NavyAntique Linen and Alabaster White for shading.  In The Navy and White card stock by Gina K Designs and Designer Paper by PTI, The Men Of Life Collection.

My boat image was colored with Copic Markers.  Cheery Lynn Lighthouse die, cut in Moonlit Fog and backed with Wild Dandelion card stock.  I also colored in the 'windows' with a Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Pen.  Candy Dots.

Thanks so much for sailing by.

This was from my Mom's 87th Birthday, we had Champagne and tidbits with her favorite Gals.

Enjoy~~

  4. WOW ... your card is just fabulous! Love the design and choice of papers ... perfect for Dad!!! PARTY TIME ... looks like Mom had a great time ... that's fabulous! And how were those Mother's Day ice cream sundaes? I think that was a DANDY idea!! When we would take my MIL out for dinner she would always have her dessert first ... she said she was afraid she wouldn't have room at the end so wanted to have the 'good stuff' first! LOL

  7. Terrific masculine card, I love the lighthouse on the edge of the image like that, cool design! That brought back memories of when my mom was still alive, if we went out for dinner and she was hungry but not hungry enough for a meal she would just order a hot fudge sundae :) How wonderful to still be celebrating with your mother :)
