Celebrate

Hello again!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at; Papertrey Ink, Window Chipboard Sentiments and Simon Says Monday, Layer It Up.

I used the Papertrey Ink products; Celebrate die from Uncorked Words and lots of the little accent stamps from the Shakers And Sprinkles Kit.  I cut the word Celebrate 4 times and layered them together to create my chipboard piece.  Then I covered it with Versa Mark ink and Clear Embossing Powder to make it shiny.

You can see the dimension here, popping through the die cut 'celebrate' window.

Inks in; Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi.

I would recommend using a larger word die, if possible, with this technique.  Mine was a tight fit.  I cut the white base card stock twice more, a tad above and a tad below, just by a hair each time, to try and add a bit more wiggle room.  It's okay.

Thanks for coming by, I hope you find something to celebrate today.  Even if it's just buying some flower seeds when it still feels like winter. lol

Enjoy~~

  6. You are amazing my dear!! Fantastic job on the background and how clever of you to "pop" the word die through to the front. This will make anyone want to celebrate even if they have to make something up

  7. Love, Love this one. The background that you created really make the word stand out. And it is die cut too. Sure wish I had time to make one of these. I will just need to pin it for later.

  8. Donna, I love your fun and festive card! Great idea to increase the opening a tad for smoother opening and closing the card.

  10. Oh wow, you really nailed that challenge. It looked so difficult I didn't feel like tackling it. I love your white background with all the bright colors, and the stamped greeting used in conjunction with the die cut is spectacular. This one is a winner!!
