Papertrey Ink August 2015 Blog Hop.

Hello Again!

Today I am participating in the Papertrey Ink August 2015 Blog Hop

Here is the Inspirational Photo, gorgeous colors!

And here is my card, Colorful Lupines.

I was inspired by all of those beautiful colors!  I used the Flower Favorites stamp and die sets from Papertrey Ink.  There's a lot of masking going on here as the Lupines are 2 images connected as one stamp.   I stamped a row of them directly to the card stock and then using the dies I cut and stamped several more.  They are such a beautiful flower, some I have grown from seed smuggled out of Nova Scotia where my Mother was born.  Shhhh.  They may be a 'tender perennial' here on Cape Cod as they never seem to last from season to season, bummer!

Inks used;  Always Artichoke, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, More Mustard, Pink Pirouette, Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi

And that sentiment, works on so many levels.  I love it!

Thanks so much for hopping on by, appreciate you taking a peek!

Enjoy~~

  8. I grow lots of Lupines in Michigan, they are my favorite flower. They are a bi/annual. That means they grow up and drop their seeds in one season and the next season the babies come up and grow. Love your card.
