Sip By Sip

Good Morning!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenge at Simon Says Monday, Citrus With A Twist.

Last month I won a stamp set from  Power Poppy and I chose this gorgeous set Short Stacks.  Marcella told me it was a fun set to color and she was right!

Beautifully illustrated images colored with Copic Markers.  I used a Spellbinders die for the focal image, Majestic Labels 25, and I don't know how to use them yet.  I bought a few of these styles, think Angelica Schmidt, she always uses the most amazing and intricate dies perfectly.....thought I would be able to do the same....oy vay!  I'll keep trying!
Some Sheer Ribbon, Rhinestone and Pearl Flourishes (greatest invention known to man!) and Sakura Glaze and Glitter Pens for accents.  I just love that sweet little parakeet and those tea cups, reminds me of the Bone China ones my Nana gave me.
Thanks so much for coming time I'll put the kettle on and whip out those Tea Cups!

  1. Gorgeous! That's such a pretty image, and you colored it beautifully. Your bling is perfect, and your frame die looks great, too.

  2. This is so adorable and sweet. Love how you have colored that bird and those teacups. I bet it IS a fun set to color!!!! I also love how you always set the focal at a wonky angle, makes the card so much more interesting. And very cool with that die cut. I really like how you used it here. Really great card!

  3. Wonderful coloring and use of color and embellishments. You are queen of askew. Love how you always make it work.

  4. You got the tea cups! This card is very crafty. So smart of you to used the negative of the oval frame. Setting the image on an angle is superb, and really makes for an alluring card. Love your coloring too. I would love to have tea/coffee with you.

  5. Another gorgeous card and so beautifully coloured! Thanks once again for sharing your project and for joining us over on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog ~ Emma :)

  6. This is just lovely, perfect in every way!
