Double D, Silhouettes

Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog.

I made a sweet little note card set with matching envelopes.

Sponged backgrounds in inks of; Crushed Curry and Tangerine Tango.  Strip of Black and White striped Designer Paper for a bit more contrast.  These cards only measure 3.5 x 4.25 inches.

The Queen Anne's Lace stamp is by Great Impressions.  Stamped using Brutus Monroe Raven Black ink.  All sentiments by Paper Smooches, Sentiment Sampler.  Tiny Butterfly image by Papertrey Ink, Phrase Play #5.

I love the effervescent way the Queen Anne's Lace looks like it is floating.

Matching envelopes using the Designer Paper by Papertrey Ink, In Bloom.

Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN!  You'll be glad you did because there is a wonderful prize up for grabs!

Thanks for floating by!  Can't wait to see what you all create!

Enjoy~~

  3. Oh! I love how you created a silhouette behind your silhouette scene, Donna! Beautifully shaded colors throughout your background reveal the FEEL of a magical sunset without having to show the actual orb. Your designs are so beautiful, and this one, in its simplicity, bespeaks loveliness, magic, and the beauty of Nature as a whole! big hugs, de
