Need A Little Pickup?

Good Morning!

Back once again on the Tutti Designs Blog to share another Masculine creation!

Check out this perfect little Pickup Truck.  Pretty FAB, right?

A nice clean and simple design.  I have let this awesome Pickup Truck die do all of the work!  I die cut it from black card stock and backed it with a bit of silver and red foil.

The candles in the bed are images printed with Toner that are easily foiled.  I just foiled and fussy cut them out.  Perfect for a celebration!

Sentiments by Gina K Designs; Up And Away and Vintage Chic stamp sets.

Wouldn't this design be awesome if you were able to give a truck along with the card?  lol

Maybe some day!

Thoughts Of You

Good Morning!

Time again to play along in the Papertey Ink Blog Hop, June 2017.

I decided to do a little water coloring this time around.  I have used the Papertrey Ink products; Vintage Linens, stamp and dies.  Mix And Mat Flourishes die.  Jar And Lid--Quart, stamp and die.  Happy For You stamp set.

I stamped my sentiment on a Vellum strip.  Even though I have several layers it's a perfectly flat card, easy for mailing.

Splattered the White card base with Yellow Craft Paint.  The Sunshine die is by Simon Says which I layered Yellow over Black card stock.

Fun{tache}tic

Good Morning!

Back again on the Tutti Designs Blog.

.  Here's a fun little card I have made.  Quick and easy!

The Tutti Designs Store has so many wonderful dies for all of your card making needs!  This month we are focusing on the men in our lives and the May Release can help you find anything and everything you need to create beautiful cards for the men in your life. Go and check them out HERE!

I used this FUN little die from Tutti Designs

I mean c'mon.....how CUTE is that?!?!

A CAS design.

But check out the detail on those fabulous Moustaches.  I think they look awesome, especially the one die cut from the Gold Foil.  I have been on such a foiling craze of late.  I think each of my June cards use it in some fashion.

A little moustache textured background.  Heat embossed Gold Powder for my sentiment.  And even a couple of 'manly' rhinestones tossed on for accents.

Love the depth and dimension I got from popping up the Moustache die cuts.  I also added Fun Foam to the back of my focal panel, it makes it nice and sturdy and adds a bit of oomph!

Inside sentiment and image paired to match the fun that's happening on the outside of the card.  Stamps by The Craft's Meow, Fun{tashe}ticTimber Brown ink.

Double D, Weddings

Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog.

Check out this Inspirational Tile!  Who doesn't love weddings???

Here's what I came up with.

I found this beautiful gold Designer Paper in my stash and I knew it had to be the background for my card.  Then I took this pretty pink tulle, which I also had in my stash, like who doesn't, right?  And draped it over the Gold, cinching in the middle to add a bit more drama.  I used a couple of glue dots to hold it in place, knowing I would be topping it with something.  Enter this pretty die cut from the Stampin' Up! die set, Love Notes.  In keeping with the gold theme I ran a piece of toner paper through my Mini Minc Machine coating the entire thing with pretty Gold Foil.  I then was able to die cut this heart and paper punch 2 smaller ones from it.  Plus I still have a nice sheet of Gold Foil to play with.  Sometimes we just die cut and then foil, but this way you have some all ready to go!  I also backed the Gold Foil heart with a piece of pink card stock.

My sentiment is by Papertrey ink, Love & Marriage and is Gold Embossed on to a Spellbinders Grommet Tags die cut.  Sheer Pink Ribbon.

Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN!  You'll be glad you did as there is always a pretty prize up for grabs!

Another simple card, but seriously, all you need is love! (and craft supplies).

Enjoy~~

Jar Of Succulents

Hello!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenges at; Simon Says Monday, Touchy Feely, Simon Says Wednesday, Emboss It and Scrapy Land, Anything Goes.

I used the Stampin' Up! Oh So Succulent stamp and die sets, Papertrey Ink products; Just The Jar--Quart and Funky Town Designer Paper.  Inks in Bermuda Bay, Black Raven, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, More Mustard, Perfect Plum, Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, Rose Red, Wild Wasabi and Wisteria Wonder.  Lots of ink!!!

The 3 larger succulents have been stamped and die cut, they add a bit more dimension to this card.  MFT Stitched Traditional Tags die and Penny Black Border Edges die.  I added a little texture with half of a doily.  And my dies did all the embossing while cutting--gotta love that!  Eyelet and Sheer Ribbon (which I will trim again before sending, it always frays).  Enamel Dots.  Wink Of Sell Clear Glitter Pen for a bit of sparkle and shine.

I really adore this Stampin' Up! set.  It's a lot of FUN to play with!

Tool Frame Shaker Card

Good Morning!

Back again on the Tutti Designs Blog

Today I am sharing a Masculine Shaker card that I have made.  It's fun, it's easy and it's manly!  June is the month we all celebrate the men in our lives.  Mine has built me 2 beautiful homes so I have built him this FUN card!  Seems about right, aye?

I started with this fabulous Tool Frame by Tutti Designs.  Isn't it just fantastic?  Check out all of the little details; saws, hammers, drills, screwdrivers and even lots of little nails.  WOW!  Everything a man would love!

I also paired it with this perfect die set!

These Tools became my 'shaker bits'.

I took 2 pieces of Holographic Foiled Toner Paper and adhered them together.  They sparkle and shine like crazy!

Then I die cut many 'tools' from them.  This way if they flipped over, they would still all have the foiled look.  I realized that the wrench and pliers would be too big for my Shaker so I have saved them for another project.

I cut my Tool Frame 3 times.  Once from chipboard, brown card stock and then again from my Foil.  I layered them all together making for a nice sturdy frame.  I also added red and brown card stocks for handles.

Nuts, bolts, nails and even the little 'dots' that came out of the bolts have been used.  I also added lots of glitter.  Sentiments by The Craft's Meow; Fun{tashe}tic and Gina K Designs Lots Of Lines and Up And Away.

Frame built, sentiment stamped and a nice shiny silver brad for an accent.

A whole lot of shakin' going on!

Simple inside sentiment.  Raven Black ink.

So FUN!!!

Poppy Stamps, Large Madison Window die.  MFT, Notched Border die for my curtains.  PTI, Stitched Pinked Edge Label die.    I also added a piece of Vellum to the inside of the window.  Sakura Glaze and Glitter Pens.  Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen.  Sheer Ribbon.

1st Father's Day

Hello!

Super cute card to share with you today!  This will be entered into the Challenges at; Simon Says Monday, Masculine, Simon Says Wednesday, Masculine, Stamping Sensations, Favorite Stamp, and Penny Black, Anything Goes!

I made this for my Son In Law, Tim, as he will become a 1st time father later this year!  EEK!  I had this great Argyle Designer Paper in my stash, bought with him in mind.  He loves a cardigan sweater so I thought this would be the most perfect design!  I added some texture to the background using a Sizzix Embossing Folder.  Hand cut a pocket and lined up the pattern.  Added more texture with my Crimper for the neckline and waist band.  A couple of buttons for accent.

My favorite stamps.....Happy Father's Day!!!  Stamp sets:  Gina K Designs; Mommy To Be Diva and Simple Numbers.  Papertrey Ink stamp set, Tag--Its 2.  Inks in Raven Black and Soft Sky

I think this coming week the kids will announce the gender of the baby!  I am soooooo excited!!!  Of course, all the Grandparents know, but again have been sworn to secrecy!  Stay Tuned!!!

Thanks for strolling by!

Enjoy~~

Cheers!

Good Morning!

Today I share with you my very first post for Tutti Designs!  Needless to say, I am super excited to be here with all of these wildly talented ladies.  Such an honor!

I used the awesome Tutti Designs die,  Beer Set on my card in celebration!  This particular die is from the May Release where you can find so many awesome masculine dies to celebrate all the men in your life!

I die cut the bottle and beer mug once from chipboard and then from colored card stock.  I added some Gold Foil to my bottle by die cutting once again from a Foiled sheet of Toner paper.  These pieces were placed back in creating an inlaid look.  Sponged the edges of each die.

I created my mug in the same way adding a layer of Vellum in between, which I colored with Copic Markers.  My foamy froth was die cut from White Glitter Paper twice so I could lay the bubbles back in on the bottom layer.  Sentiments heat embossed with Gold Powder, from Simon Says Adult Beverages stamp set.  A couple of pieces of Gold Ribbon for accents.  My background texture mimics bubbles.  I also added a strip of Gold Foil Textured card stock to the inside panel.

Here you can see the dimension of the chipboard and card stock die cuts.  I love it when these fantastic dies come to life!

Double D, Blue & White

Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog.

Such pretty Blues!

I came up with a very clean, a very simple design....I know, right?!?!

Using this majestic tree die from Cheery Lynn, Whimsical Tree Of Life die, I cut it twice.  Once from the White focal panel and then again form Navy card stock.  I placed the Navy cut back in the negative space of the White. A simple technique, but I just adore it!

The 2 swatches of blue inks were stamped using the Stampin' Up! set, Sealed With Love.  Inks in Night Of Navy and Not Quite Navy.  My sentiment is by Gina K Designs, Scripty Sayings 2, after stamping I covered it with Clear Powder and heated it.  I do this every time when stamping on Vellum.  I have been known to smudge lol.  Candy Dots, to hide the glue dot under my Vellum.....Oh Fudge.....where did that left one go???  hahaha I will find it!

Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN!

Check out the FAB Prize up for grabs too!

Thanks for coming by, hope your day is anything but blue!
