Happy Halloween

Good Morning!  Happy Halloween!

I hope we get more than 4 Trick Or Treaters as Hubby was in charge of the candy purchase this year and he bought the goooooood stuff!  Oh Oh!

I made a few Halloween cards to send out to family and loved one, why I assume adults need Halloween cards is beyond me.  lol

Here are jut a few:

This is the one I want to talk about, and will be entered into the Challenges at; Stamp TV , Release Party, To Use Glitter, Simon Says Monday, Throwback....Sept 21, 2015, To Use A Stamp, No Digis and Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

I used the Gina K Designs stamps, Buds And Vases and Wicked!  Ever see the actual 'Bottle Of Boos' people create?  (say it out loud lol)  I knew I had to try to make it in card form.

Designer Paper is an oldie but a goodie by DCWV, Midnight Spell, complete with webs and spiders.  I stamped the jar and fussy cut it out shading it a bit with Antique Linen ink.  Then I stamped a few Boo sentiments inside it and added googly eyes.  The strip of green goo I made simply by squirting out a line of Glossy Accents on to waxed paper, drawing a toothpick through one end and then covering it all in green glitter.  I let this dry overnight and then I was able to carefully pry the strip off the waxed paper.  I made one to look like icicles too.  Super easy!  I saw this on Pinterest of course, where a crafty gal made icicles and I immediately thought green goo!  lol

I am sure they will add some frosty goodness to a Holiday card or two.

May all your tricks be treats today!

Enjoy~~

Bold & Beautiful

Back again with one more card to share with you.

This will be entered into the following Challenges;

Mod Squad, Bold & Beautiful
Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!
Simon Says Monday, Throwback, July 13, 2015 Anything Goes!

This card uses the Papertrey Ink stamp set, Love & Marriage.  I LOVE that tree stamp, isn't it fantastic?  Bold?  Beautiful?  Yup!!!  I stamped the focal image in Night Of Navy Ink and then the sentiment using Gold Embossing Powder and Versa Mark ink.  I layered the image on gold and navy card stock, it really pops off the white card base.  Corner punched so I had a nice little spot to add the Adhesive Pearls.  Gold ribbon and layered Spellbinders Heart dies complete my look.

This is my second Anniversary card in as many days.....I don't need any Anniversary cards right now.  lol

Thanks so much for coming by.  Hope you have a wonderful day!

Enjoy~~

Happy Anniversary

Good Morning!

Today's card will be entered into the following Challenges;

Papertrey Ink, Pearlized Blending
Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!
Simon Says Monday, Throwback  September 21, 2015 Use A Stamp, No Digis

I used the Papertrey Ink stamp and die sets Love Notes.  I created my big bright harvest moon by using a Sellbinders Classic Circle die.  With Versa Mark and clear embossing powder I stamped LOVE and then I sponged several different shades of ink in yellows and oranges.  Then I rubbed and buffed Perfect Pearls in Sunflower Sparkle all over it.  It does give it a lovely pearlesque look, very pretty!   A Banner was stamped with my Anniversary sentiment.  I also die cut and stamped my Adirondack chairs. Some randomly tossed sequins and it was done.

This to me, sets an awesome anniversary celebration.  Just add liquids.  ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by, appreciate it when you do!

Happy Halloween Splatters

Hello!

A cute little Fall/Halloween card to share with you today.

This will be entered into the Challenges at Stamp TV, Splatter Matters, hosted by my BFF Judy Woodland (YUP she's all over the place!) and Simon Says Monday, Throwback.

I used the Gina K Designs stamp sets Fanciful Fall and Heartfelt.  This is a different style fold card.  The front portion is only half the size of a regular card, creating a gate fold.....sort of.

When open it looks like this:

A little different, kind of cute.  The fence is a Cameo cut from black glitter paper.  Images are colored with Copic Markers.  Splatters created using orange craft paint and an old toothbrush.

Thanks for coming by.

Papertrey Ink October 2015 Blog Hop

Hello!

Today I am participating in the Papertrey Ink 2015 Blog Hop.

Here is this month's inspirational photo:

I was totally inspired by the natural shipping tags....shocker, I know!  I decided to make my own Christmas Sprigs using several stamps from Daydreamer.

I masked off the flower stem and stamped my 'branch' and then added lots of the leaves to create the sprig, followed by the holly berries.  Inks used; Garden Green and Real Red.

Added little brown tabs of card stock and punched holes using my Crop-O-Dile and then added some plain white string.  Sentiments from the City Scene set, stamped in Timber Brown ink.  I also added white hi-lights to each holly berry using a Sakura White Glaze Pen.

I will also be entering these into the Challenge at Mod Squad Blog, Flip Flop, hosted by my BFF Judy Woodland.

I adore making tags!!!

Thanks so much for hopping by!

Enjoy~~

Mummy Tag

Good Afternoon!

Today's creation will be entered into the Challenges at Tag You're It, Photo Inspiration, Dies R Us, Ghoul Friends (Halloween) and Simon Says Monday, Monster Mash.

I was going to leave it as a tag and then decided to mount it on a card base, needed one more Halloween card.

I think the last time I used this inexpensive stamp for a Halloween card, my Husband and my Father-In-Law both thought it should be for a get well card....???....really?!?!  Ohhhh okay, if you are in a horrific accident of some sort and bandaged from head to toe, I suppose you're right.  Let's just say the apple did not fall very far from that tree....OMG!  Clearly he is a Mummy, right?  lol

Stamped in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored lightly with E42 Sand White Copic Marker to age him a bit.  This little guy was mounted on a tag using MFT's Stitched Traditional Tag which was dolled up with Designer Paper and Washi Tape.  I also used a Bracket Edge Duo die by MFT on the card base.  Sentiment by Gina K Designs, Wicked. Googly eyes and a bit of fun fluffy fiber and he was complete.

If you ever see me use this stamp on a get well card, pray for us!!!

Last Challenge this little gem won a shout out at Tag You're It

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Holiday Shaker

Good Morning!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenges at Hero Arts, Holiday Card Making and Simon Says Wednesday, Wrap It Up! (gift boxes, wrapping paper, tags, or anything you choose to make something and wrap a ribbon or twine around it).

I chose to make a Shaker Card.....love them and they are super easy!  I ALWAYS use this technique from Papertrey Ink, I have found it is the easiest way for me, check out this VIDEO.

I used 2 Hero Arts stamps, K5445 Branch & Flourish Tree and F2568 Merry Christmas Ornaments (which I masked and just used the sentiment portion).  Using Gold Embossing Powder I stamped and heated my tree image, this is a beautiful detailed flourish tree, very elegant, especially in gold.  Created the Shaker by mixing gold glitter, gold glitter slivers, white snowy glitter and green sequins.

Embossed the sentiment on to Vellum and added a gold ribbon to tie it all together.  I really have fun making Shaker Cards and probably will make more.  Recipients love to get interactive cards, so it's a win/win situation.

Thanks so much for dropping by.

Enjoy~~

All The Beauty Of Today

Good Afternoon!

This card will be entered into the Challenge at Papertrey Ink, Focal Clusters.  Such a fun little technique, here's Lexi's VIDEO.

I used PTI's Daydreamer and Flower Favorites stamp sets, both some of my most favorites!  It was a lot of fun pulling out different stamps and matching them up and seeing which worked well together, like creating a puzzle, Lexi was correct!

I used inks in; Antique Linen, Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz, Tuxedo Black and Wisteria Wonder.  Added black corner tabs to frame my images and the card was complete.  So easy, and I feel these leave such a wonderful impression--pun intended!

Check out the video and play along, you'll be happy you did!

Thanks so much for coming by!

Hey Gnomie

Good Afternoon!

A gorgeous Fall day here in New England....love it!

I created a little tag for Challenges at Tag You're It, Photo and Stamp TV, Red & Gold.

I used the Gina K Designs stamp sets, Gnome One Like You and Wishing You Joy. MFT Traditional Stitched Tag die used.  I stamped, colored and fussy cut out my cute little guy and popped him up on 3D dots.  Stamped and colored the trees with Copic Markers too.  Using Versa Mark Ink and Gold Embossing Powder I heated my snowflakes and joy sentiment.

Add a snow line using a White Sakura Glaze Pen and glitter.  I also added the same glitter to his beard and mustache, they sparkle so much!    Green Eyelet and Gold Ribbon for accents.

He's just the cutest!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by, you know I love it when you do!

Enjoy~~

Autumn Tree

Happy Tuesday!

On the Great Impressions Blog today!

I made this fabulous Fall card using the Great Impressions Stamp  H233 Autumn Tree.

I stamped the image and then cut it out using an MFT Vertical Frame die.  Taking several Fall colors of Copic Markers I added color to the leaves to mimic the beautiful New England Foliage we typically experience.  The jury is still out if we will get our pretty colors this year as our summer was so dry.

I also added a handful of Adhesive Rhinestones in the Fall colors to add some pizazz!  A bit of shear ribbon for accent and my card was complete.

There's still plenty of time for you to join in on our Monthly Challenge, For The Kids.  And when you use your Great Impressions Stamps feel free to link up your creation into our Customer Gallery.

Thanks so much for dropping by, we love it when you do!

Pretty Halloween Pumpkins

Good Afternoon!

I have a Halloween card to share with you, and its not your typical Halloween card.

This will be entered into the Challenges at Curtain Call, Pretty Pumpkins and Dies R Us, Ghoul Friends/Halloween.

I loved the Inspirational Photo, so pretty!  I decided to paper piece my pretty pumpkins in coordinating colors and prints.  The black and white stripe frame is Washi Tape.  I used the Gina K Designs stamp sets, Heartfelt and Wicked.

Spellbinders Fanciful Lattice die and MFT Traditional Stitched Tags die (yes, they are my FAVORITE!!!).  Chevrons Embossing Folder to add some texture and the tag is topped off with ribbon and twine.

It's Halloween, yet not scary....well except for that BOO!  lol

Thanks so much for dropping by my pumpkin patch.

Enjoy~~

Gift Card Holder

Hello!  Short little post with a Gift Card Holder.

This will be entered into the MFT Challenges; Sketch and Color.

I used the MFT products; Martinis On Me stamp set, Blueprints #12 and Stitched Traditional Tags dies as well as a Penny Black Heart String Die.  Once I saw the Sketch I knew I could make this in to a Gift Card Holder, it worked perfectly!

All of the plaid Designer Papers make this quite masculine, even with the heart strings.  The hardest thing about this is, WHO do we give it to?  It is to one of our favorite watering holes here in town.  ;)

Thanks so much for dropping in.  Happy Monday!

Enjoy~~

Happy Thoughts

Good Afternoon!  What a beautiful New England Fall day!  I just love this time of year!!!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenges at Stamp TV, Just Tear Your Paper and Stamping Sensations, Colours Of Autumn.

I used the Gina K Designs stamp set, Fanciful Fall, just perfect for this time of year!  Stamped the image and colored with Copic Markers and then I tore the bottom portion of the White card stock, then I cut a piece of Pumpkin Spice and tore that to match the white piece.

I added Antique Linen ink to the Brick Embossing Folder before running it through my Big Shot, it left a little hint of color behind to age the brick.  Sentiment was stamped on a piece of Vellum which was adhered to the back of the White card stock.  Enamel brad accent.

Simple.  Striking. Splendid.

Thanks so much for bopping by, appreciate it when you do!

Enjoy~~

Water Color & Sparkles

Good Friday Morning!  YAY!

Today's creation will be entered into the Challenge at Simon Says Monday, Wonderful Water Color.

I used the Great Impressions Stamp, E880 Sparkle.....kind of love it!  I  made my water color background using several different inks and then cut it out with Spellbinders Labels 8 die.  I also used the MFT Fancy Flourish die to cut a stencil out of chipboard so I could lay down a line of glue and douse it in Dazzling Diamonds.  So easy!

A generous toss of 'random' sequins--you know how I agonize over their 'random' placement  lol  And the card was done.

One might even call this CAS....ha!  (the struggle is real people!)

Thanks so much for popping in!  I am on my way to my daughter's for a fun overnighter--YAY!

Enjoy~~
