Happy New Home

Good Morning!

Finally had some time to play in the craft room!

This card will be entered into the following Challenges;

Memory Box, Patterned Paper.
Scrapy Land, Anything Goes!

After over 2 years of discussing and coaxing my Father In Law has finally decided to sell his home and move to an Assisted Living Facility.  It is so beautiful and not far from his house that he will still see all of his friends and neighbors and he will take his car and still be able to get out and about under his own steam.  We, all of the kids, are happy and thrilled to see him find a good match.
He may just meet his newest bestest friend here!

This card is for him:

I used the Designer Paper pack by PTI, Chocolate Remix.
I swear my FIL has a shirt that matches this very print.
Memory Box Layered Robin and Woodland Branch dies.
Paper Smooches Foliage 1 die and Bird House die, which was layered 4 times.
Tutti Designs Cross Stitched Nesting Rectangles die.
Adhesive Pearls colored with Copic Markers.

I used the Karen Burniston Twist Panel Pop Up die set.
This die set can turn any style card into one that has a WOW Factor.
Easy to create with them too!
PTI Phrase Play #5 die.
2" Alphabet dies.
MFT Fancy Flourish die.
Gina K Designs, Home Tweet Home stamp set.

This will still fit into a regular A2 size envelope.....luckily it will be hand delivered
as the postage would be extra extra!

It was FUN to create this Twist Panel Pop Up card!

Thanks for popping by!

Enjoy~~

You Make Me Happy

Good Evening!

Quick card, quick post.  This will be entered into the Challenges at; Papertrey Ink, Create Along With Us and Simon Says WednesdayGoing Dotty.

I was inspired by this card by Laurie Schmidlin.

Here's my card:

Kraft and White card stock, White and Brown Polka Dot Designer paper.  Papertrey Ink products; Itty Bitty Stars DP (inside) Simple Sunflowers, and Phrase Play #5, stamps and dies on both sets.  I cropped the Happy and die cut it from Wild Dandelion card stock.

Inks in Raven Black and Daffodil Delight.  Double Stitched Kraft Ribbon.

I like how you are able to bend and curve the clear stamps into any shape.

Thanks for passing by.

Enjoy~~

Happy Birthday

Hello!

Today's card will be entered into the following Challenges; Papertrey Ink, Patterns Behind Die Cut Window, Simon Says Monday, Splash It On, Simon Says Wednesday, Showers and/or Flowers, Simon Says Work It Wednesday, April Showers Bring May Flowers and Scrapy Land, Spring Blooms.

I used several Papertry Ink products; Phrase Play # 5 Happy die, Flower Favorites stamps and dies, Big Basics Birthday die (I cropped the 'wishes' off of it) and Bitty Stars Designer Paper.  My splash is my water coloring of the Happy Birthday dies.  Spellbinders Standard and Scallop Circles die used to frame in my window.

Swiss Dots Embossing Folder for texture.  Inks in; Always Artichoke, Bermuda Bay, Pink Pirouette and Tempting Turquoise.  Sequins.

Thanks for stopping by!

Double D, Silhouettes

Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog.

I made a sweet little note card set with matching envelopes.

Sponged backgrounds in inks of; Crushed Curry and Tangerine Tango.  Strip of Black and White striped Designer Paper for a bit more contrast.  These cards only measure 3.5 x 4.25 inches.

The Queen Anne's Lace stamp is by Great Impressions.  Stamped using Brutus Monroe Raven Black ink.  All sentiments by Paper Smooches, Sentiment Sampler.  Tiny Butterfly image by Papertrey Ink, Phrase Play #5.

I love the effervescent way the Queen Anne's Lace looks like it is floating.

Matching envelopes using the Designer Paper by Papertrey Ink, In Bloom.

Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN!  You'll be glad you did because there is a wonderful prize up for grabs!

Thanks for floating by!  Can't wait to see what you all create!

Round Happy Birthday Card/Tag

Good Morning.....it's been so long!

Today's creation will be entered into the Challenge at Papertrey Ink, Create Along With Us, March 2016.

I fell in love with Kay Miller's GORGEOUS Script Swirls Birthday Tag:

Fantastic, right???  So I thought I would CASE her project.

Only  I am calling mine a CAPE.....Copy And Pray Everything -- looks ohhhkay.

I used water color paper and painted my inks in; Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Tempting Turquoise and Wild Wasabi, this is kind of fun, especially when they do not turn 'muddy' as so many of my projects do.  I then used Spellbinders Classic and Lacy Circle dies to create my shape and frame.  A Stampin' Up! Tags And Labels Framelit die was attached in between my layers.  Added an eyelet and some cording as accents as well as a swirl strip of Adhesive Black Pearls (which I cut).

I used the Papertrey Ink products; Swoosh and Phrase Play # 5 dies (I dissected the 'happy' from the PP#5 die) and the Flower Favorites stamp and die sets.  A bit of Wink Of Stella Clear on the butterfly accent.

I know I can not compete with Kay's but she certainly inspired me to try!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
