Double D, Pearls, Gems Or Diamonds

Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog

Here is your Inspiration Tile:

Diamonds are a girl's best friend!  Wink, Wink.

Here is my card:

I used the Stampin' Up! stamp and die sets; Dragonfly Dreams and Detailed Dragonfly.
My sentiment was stamped in Amalgam Black ink.
My dragonfly was die cut 3 times, once in card stock, again in Vellum and then the top layer with all of the detail was die cut from Holograph Foil.  This things sparkles and shines in real life.

Spellbinders Classic Circle dies in 2 different sizes used.
PTI Green Tea Leaves Designer Papers, the large and small print.
A glorious circle of Adhesive Rhinestones to frame my pretty dragonfly.
Red Adhesive Rhinestones.

The dragonfly and center circle die cut are backed with Fun Foam.
This makes them nice and sturdy and gives them a bit of dimension.

The dragonfly symbolizes wisdom, change, transformation, light and adaptability in life.
The dragonfly shows up in people's lives to remind them
that they need to bring a lightness and a joy to their lives.
We also signify their appearance with contact from a passed loved one.

Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN!

You'll be glad you did as there is always a pretty prize up for grabs!
