Love Hearts

Good Morning!  Busy, busy, busy!

I made this card for the Challenge at PTI, Camouflaging Die Cuts.

I must say I LOVE how this came out!  And thank you Barbara Campbell for the help, wink, wink!  I used a One Line Die Cut from Papertrey, Love and stacked 5 cuts on top of each other.  The last one I masked off and using a Copic Marker, I colored the bottom half of it.  The hearts were cut using Spellbinders Heart Dies.  Added a bit of texture to 2 of them using Embossing Folders, Swiss Dots and a portion of a Sizzix Die with Love Birds on it.  2 of the other hearts used textured card stock.  All the dies were 'inlaid' and then built up, making them like chipboard pieces.
Okay back to making all seems to be coming together!
Merry Merry!

  1. Very pretty.....I love the way you have made all of the hearts look different and your layered Love die is great! That's one of my new favorite things to do. lol

  2. My pleasure, "wink, wink". Great non rational colors on this card. This is a great technique and you knocked it out, my dear. Love all of the texture.

  3. I thought first off they were chippies! But this is better because you can do them over and over again! Great card Donna!! I love this one .... the colours you chose, too!

  4. I absolutely LOVE this!!! The colors, the textures, the layout, just everything. So much dimension, you must have had a ball making it.

  5. Oh man, you're already on Valentine's Day cards? This card is phenomenal! I absolutely love it.

  6. I have missed a lot on your blog. I think I commented on this before, but I did not recognize the technique, I love how it came together too.
