Spooky Halloween Tree

Good Monday Morning, back on the Dies R Us Blog

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

This card will also be entered in the Challenge at Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

Today I have another  Halloween card to share with you!

I used this beautiful Tree Of Life die by Cheery Lynn.  I knew if I cut it out in black glitter card stock I could make it spooky enough for a Halloween card.  I added many googly eyes to make it a bit more spooky too......no matter where you look it's staring back at you.....CREEPY!

The corner spider web is also by Cheery Lynn, it's one of 3 different dies in the Lace Corner Deco H set.  My little glittery pumpkin is by Memory Box, Plump Pumpkin.  I was going to draw a mustache on him to make him appear a bit more sinister, but my drawing skills are not that great.  lol   Sentiment heat embossed in black embossing powder.

I also made a spider....or is it an ant....by gluing  2 different sized adhesive pearls on top of my web.

Here's what I used:

  6. It may be spooky, Donna, but it cracked me up! Too funny, and what a great sense of humor you have! LOVE your eye-ball laden tree! Most trees have flowers or fruits, so yours is especially unique! Fantastic shape for the icky green panel, and a wonderful design all-round- so typically "Donna" - full of surprises and a great design - always! xo
