This will be entered into the Challenges at Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes and Simon Says Work It Wednesday To Use Red, Orange, Yellow and/or Brown. #powerpoppy
Do you ever just want to color? I do! This Power Poppy stamp set, Olive And Oak is just so FUN to color! I still have a lot to learn, but man I really just enjoyed coloring this pretty image! Copic Markers and Black Licorice ink.
A few strips of card stock and this card is complete!
I think I fell in love with this set because of the Olives. We had just returned from Santorini Greece and everything was laced with Olives--in a good way! They grew everywhere and anywhere.
YUM
And once again, Happy World Card Making Day.....I am heading back into the craft room to get inky!
Thanks for coming by!
Enjoy~~
Gorgeous card Donna! Happy Card Making Day to you too! Love your coloring!
ReplyDeleteYou sure had fun on World Card Making Day! Three lovely cards, but I think I love this one the best. It says so much with the olive branch and the acorns, colored so lively and beautiful. I love that you kept it simple and still got your coloring fix in. The striped on the top are just the right touch..
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous Donna! Awesome coloring (no surprise there!) and the simplicity of the design is perfect! So glad to see you're enjoying your weekend! Thanks for inspiration as always ... you rock!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful coloring on this, great Autumn card, and how great to have been able to go by your own experience to color it!
ReplyDeleteOhh, this image is gorgeous, love how you colored it. So warm and inviting
ReplyDeleteOh, Donna! What a gorgeous card and fabulous coloring! I love the richness and love your layout! Really showcases this beautiful fall array. And how wonderful to be inspired by all the olives you saw on your amazing trip to Greece! Stunning card, sweet friend! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully colored, Donna! Like you, I am in love with this image. It reminds me of the cool Autumn days in Connecticut. Our acorns here are seldom this pretty because of all the buggies. When we lived in the desert, olive trees were prolific, and my grandparents had one in their front yard in Las Vegas. Not only was it a source of shade, but interesting fruit, too, that fed lots of wildlife! Yes, that was in the "olden days" before LV was a metropolis. LOL Thanks for sharing your Beauty with us. BTW, I am thankful, too, for you. xo
ReplyDeleteI love it and yes, it could be a CAS card but it still has a lot of gorgeousness in it. I love your coloring. A wonderful card for Autumn.
ReplyDeleteThat is a fabulous image and so beautifully colored. You make me want to dig out my copics....wait I don't have any copics. I am so glad you have time to craft again.
ReplyDeleteFantastic fall card. Your coloring is amazing and I like how you trimmed it out with different strips of cardstock.
ReplyDeleteI love your design, Donna, a beautiful one for the season! Thanks for playing with us once again at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful, I love that stamp set. You have colored it beautifully, it's perfect!! Did you use Copics? Your design is just superb for this image, it speaks for itself and needs no other adornment. Just gorgeous. Oh, and I LOVE olives too!!! Yummo!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had fun coloring.... it's good for the soul :) And you did it beautifully!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, beautifully coloured! Loved Santorini!
ReplyDeleteOkay this is another stamp set that I haven't used yet. You did a great job coloring.....very pretty!
