Yellow Rose

Hello again!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at MFT Sketch and Simon Says Monday, Spritz And Spray.

I used the MFT stamp and die sets, Sweet Roses and their Traditional Stitched Tag dies.  I also used a Paper Smooches Foliage 1 die set.  I added texture using Tim Holtz, Brick Wall and a CuttleBug Honeycomb Embossing Folders.

Images colored with Copic Markers.  Baker's Twine for accent.  Using my ever so handy Mini Mister I mixed up some Pearl Ex and water and then tinted some in Yellow and some in Brown.  Love the way it aged my 'bricks'.  I wanted to use small sequins in Green and Yellow but I didn't have any.....Oh The Horror!.....BUT I took my Crop-A-Dile and using the hole punch a created them out of very large ones.

Thanks for walking down my brick pathway.....appreciate it when you do....and when the sun has melted all the ice off.....cripes....it's dangerous out there!

Enjoy~~

  1. I specially love how you seem to combine several challenge all in one. Just like you to be able to do that. Thanks for the hint of how to make small sequins. How in the world did you think of that?
