Today's card was made for the following Challenges;
Papertrey Ink, Valentine Ombre Stamping
Stamp TV, Make A Splash
Dies R Us, Love
Simon Says Wednesday, Have A Heart
Mod Squad, Hearts and/or Flowers
Double D, Pretty Pink Hearts
ScrapyLand, Anything Goes!
I started with the GKD stamp set, True Love, and this beautiful heart border. I used inks in Pirouette Pink, Melon Mambo and Rose Red to create my Ombre effect. Then I splattered the card stock with craft inks in Light Pink, Bright Magenta and Turner Ink to create my Splash Of Color. The 'with love' die is from Papertrey Ink, the Swoosh set and was cut in Innocent Pink, Bubblegum Pink, Passionate Pink and Cherry Red, creating another Ombre effect, these were also layered onto Black Onyx card stock. The inside border heart die is by Impression Obsession, Looped Heart.
It looks kind of messy, but it actually makes a sweet little note card, perhaps to top a box of chocolates from The Chatham Candy Manor.
Thanks for stopping by, LOVE it when you do!
Enjoy~~
Clever and fabulous design Donna! Yes it would be perfectly paired with a box of chocolates! LOL
