Wishing You.....Happy Holidays

Good Afternoon!

Although this is my first Christmas card of this Season, I am not very fond f it.  It was one of the first cards I made coming back from the 'Wedding Hiatus'.  Mo and Jo were shy then.....but since I have made several cards and I think they are back in the groove of it all.  Phew!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Power Poppy, WCMD Sketch and Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

You had to use this Sketch, non-traditional colors for a Holiday card and add some Bling!

I know blue and white or red and green are commonly used for Holiday cards, but  decided to go with different hues of blues and greens, together.  I tried to make the top portion look like an actual gift by using the Flourishes stamp set, That's A Wrap, bow was fussy cut out.  I also cropped the sentiment from the Power Poppy stamp set, Short Stacks.  It originally said; Wishing You a day filled with All The Things You Love!

Spellbinders Pendants and Classic Circle dies and MFT Blueprints #12 die.  Inks in Not Quite Navy and Wild Wasabi.  Rhinestones.
One down 456 more to go, or so it seems.
Thanks for popping in, so happy you did!

  1. OMGoodness!! You and I were sitting in our craft rooms working on an almost iidentical card with the same stamp sets. Too funny. I love your take on the colors. I went back to my Flourishes stamps sets too. Good luck, I hope that you win.

    1. I know for a fact Barbara that yours will not look as bad as this one! ;) You really need to move East! lol

  2. I love the blues and greens together and that pretty polka dot bow. Great card!

  3. Hello Donna: I love your take on this sketch, I too love Flourishes stamps and I have quite a few sets but I missed getting this one, it's so gorgeous and you did an amazing job with it. Love the elegance of this card, the dark blues and soft greens combine so perfectly in this design, just beautiful.
Thank you for sharing at the Power Poppy challenge.

  4. It's nor so bad! You are so funny, I love the Mo & Jo hahahaha. Glad you are back at it

  5. Wow, I love the Navy! That bow is gorgeous!

  6. Well, I think it is a great design. And, non traditional colors work for me too!

  7. Love what you did with the sketch and that bow stamp is amazing. My Mo and Jo did not come back with me from vacation. I think I left them with my sister or on the airplane. Started four cards on Sunday and they all went in the bin. Have not felt inspired yet so I am doing some reading and watching videos.

  8. You're too hard on yourself, Mo & Jo are doing the best they can. I love the design, colors and that beautiful big bow.

  9. You've been busy this week - this is the third card I've come across in the challenge! Another great card Donna - love the bold design on this one.
Thanks for joining in this week at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
