I have been getting up super early, working, and then I have time to play! Life is good! (knock on wood!)
Today's card will be entered into the following Challenges;
Papertrey Ink, Creating With Stripes
Mod Squad Get Your Fall On (hosted by my BFF Barb Campbell )
Stamping Sensations Colours Of Autumn
Penny Black Warm Autumn Colours
Simon Says Monday Autumn Is In The Air
I used the Papertrey Ink stamp sets, City Scene and Through The Trees. I created my stripes using the 'road' stamp from City Scene, Mother Of Necessity and all! ;) Stamping one way then the other to add a bit of interest. The inks used for the stripes are; Pear Pizzazz, Pumpkin Pie, and So Saffron, sentiment stamped in Timber Brown. I hate to admit it, but I think in 7th grade I had a Velour shirt in these colors lol.....oh the 70's!
I stamped the trees onto 2 pieces of card stock, letting the sides over stamp a bit. Kind of like the Triple Stamping Technique seen here: Video. Remember when Judy shared that little gem with us all.....really cool! The trees were dabbed in several different inks to achieve the look of a New England Fall. Still not sure if Mother Nature will cooperate and show us the Fall Foliage, it has been very dry here, so they may just crunch all up and turn brown. I sure hope not though!
That's it for now. Thanks for popping in!
Enjoy~~

Love the colours and the interest the stripes give your card! The best thing, though, (to me) is the overlapping of the trees on the sides. Awesome technique!! And what a great way to combine all those challenges ;)
