Hello!
Back again with a little card made for the Papertrey Ink Challenge, Creating Your Own Custom Borders.
To create my custom border I used PTI's Happy Hexagon Stamp and Die sets. The hexagons were stamped using inks in Tempting Turquoise and Wild Wasabi. Simple Sunflower Stamps and Dies used for the image and sentiments.
Ribbon tabs, Adhesive Pearls and Swiss Dots Embossing Folder used for accents. Spellbinders Classic and Scallop Oval dies.
Check out Laurie's VIDEO, if you haven't done so already. She'll show you a fun and easy way to create YOUR own custom borders! So many possibilities!
Thanks for popping in!
Enjoy~~
Love all the texture and dimension you got in this card. Perfect die and stamp for that border challenge.

ReplyDeleteGreat card Donna! & thanks for the video info. Such a great idea!
ReplyDeleteLove this! What a great idea to have a black and white flower in amongst the other colours--it really makes the eye focus on it! Love your border, too! You're rocking this challenge ;) I'm off to Maui today with my son and his family--yippee!!
ReplyDeleteWhahoo! ENJOY!!!
DeleteI have to say that the ribbon tags are so unique and I love how you use them and always forget to do that on my cards. Why? The accent border really adds to the design and love your bold daisy and sentiment on the front.
ReplyDeleteThis came out so pretty, Donna. Love the colors too.
