I made this card for the Papertrey Ink July 2015 Blog Hop!
Here is their Inspirational Photo:
I used the Emboss Resist technique to create the center panel of butterflies. Using inks in Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo, Marina Mist and Elegant Eggplant, sentiments stamped in Tuxedo Black.
The Papertrey Ink stamp sets are Flower Favorites and Swoosh.
Added texture using a Sizzix Embossing Folder.
Thanks so much for coming by.
Enjoy~~
Your butterfly strip is enchanting! They seem to be fluttering off the card! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOMG - this is absolutely STUNNING!!! Really, really stunning! Love that touch of black with the greeting, and those colors together are amazing. And then the embossing along the side...whoa!!! I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this!!!

ReplyDeleteLovely card! Love the resist technique and colors!
ReplyDeleteA very stricking card. The butterfly panel is the first one that I looked at. Love the colors that you used and the embossed resist. Then the dry embossed panel for the texture, but it does not take away from the butterflies. Love the font on the hello too. Just a wonderful artful creation.
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL. I love how you sectioned the card and used the embossing, sentiment and the beautiful butterflies. Awesome take on the challenge.
