Today's card will be entered into the Challenges at; Simon Says Monday, Touchy Feely, Simon Says Wednesday, Emboss It and Scrapy Land, Anything Goes.
I used the Stampin' Up! Oh So Succulent stamp and die sets, Papertrey Ink products; Just The Jar--Quart and Funky Town Designer Paper. Inks in Bermuda Bay, Black Raven, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, More Mustard, Perfect Plum, Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, Rose Red, Wild Wasabi and Wisteria Wonder. Lots of ink!!!
The 3 larger succulents have been stamped and die cut, they add a bit more dimension to this card. MFT Stitched Traditional Tags die and Penny Black Border Edges die. I added a little texture with half of a doily. And my dies did all the embossing while cutting--gotta love that! Eyelet and Sheer Ribbon (which I will trim again before sending, it always frays). Enamel Dots. Wink Of Sell Clear Glitter Pen for a bit of sparkle and shine.
I really adore this Stampin' Up! set. It's a lot of FUN to play with!
And because it's Father's Day, here's a shout out to some of the AMAZING Dads and to-be Dads, in my life!!! We are so blessed to have had you all. My Dad is no longer with us, but I feel him everyday, just over my shoulder and in my heart! xoxo

What is there not to love about this card??? It has such a warm, homey, full of love feel to it. Everything is pulls together so beautifully. I especially like the doily edge with the dots.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, bright colours, I love your jars of flowers! The doily and enamel dots are perfect behind the tag, as is the checked paper! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card! I love the colorful succulents in the jar. Sweet! Great pic's too!
ReplyDeleteLove this card and it's primary colors! How clever to use the coordinating enamel dots on the side! Fun creation Donna!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the awesome photos too! My dad has been gone since 1989 and I'm with you ... I feel him around me all the time. Especially when every time I go out to work in the flower garden or mow the lawn there's a white butterfly that follows me around. I swear it's my dad guiding me along (he too loved flowers and a nice yard).
A happy card and I always love it when you use that jar. I really enjoy all of the extras that you add inside and outside the jar. My craft room is all cleaned up and guess what? I have my jar stamp sitting on my desk for the next card that I make. I think it will be the first one. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteEvery time you use that set I kick myself for not getting it and now it's gone. Love this card with those colors and that plaid background!! Just awesome!!!
