Working more, crafting less.....this too shall pass!
This card will be entered into the Challenges at; Power Poppy, June Bug, Scrapy Land, Anything Goes, Simon Says Monday, Touchy Feely and Simon Says Wednesday, Emboss It.
I used the Power Poppy stamp sets; In Praise Of Sunflowers and Soothing Sympathy. Images stamped in Raven Black ink and colored with Copic Markers. I stamped the large sunflower twice, fussy cutting out one and layering it on top of the stamped one. I also fussy cut out the butterfly wings, stamping the body on to the white card stock and placing the wings on top.
Spellbinders Captivating Squares, which I also cut out the middle of leaving just a frame. Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. Nuvo Crystal Drops in Dandelion. Wink Of Stella Glitter Pen. Jute Twine, Natural Twine and Sunflower Charm for accents.
Lots of depth.
And dimension.
Thanks for flitting by.
Enjoy~~
Gorgeous! Love that image and your butterfly!

ReplyDeleteI just love sunflowers and your card is gorgeous Donna! Hoping you find more time for crafting soon.
ReplyDeleteSunflowers are a favorite of mine. They are so majestic and this one is on top of the pick. Love how you got the depth and dimension. Loving that die that you pit the image on too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Donna! I do LOVE sunflowers! :o)
ReplyDeleteHow glorious, Donna! Beautifully colored sunflower, but I love that the colors surrounding it are the same colors, bringing out such a fineness and regal-ness that otherwise would not have been shown. I especially like the embellies in the corners, and that fantastic loop at the top center so the card resembles a vintage painting. AND the card can be hung on a pin and displayed for long hours of enjoyment. Gorgeous! xx
