My card today will be entered into the Challenges at Papertrey Ink, Pantone Chip Inspired Cards and Simon Says Work It Wednesday, Sunshine.
I used the Papertrey Ink stamp set, Shakers And Sprinkles. Inks in Wild Dandelion, Crushed Curry and Raven Black.
Splattered the White card base with Yellow Craft Paint. The Sunshine die is by Simon Says which I layered Yellow over Black card stock.
Super simple card, but I do love the sentiment!
Thanks for popping in, hope to see some sunshine today, but it looks iffy. Guess I'll clean my house!
Enjoy~~
hello yellow!! i love your sunny take on the challenge - thanks for playing make it monday!
ReplyDeleteI watched the video for this challenge and sure wish that I had time to make a card for this very different challenge. I acsolutely love everything about your card. From the simplicity to the bright yellow and the perfect sentiment to go along with it. Maybe I'll try it just for fun anyway.
ReplyDeleteI hear the sun calling my name - all the way from MA - more specifically - the lovely Phelan coastline and garden! Definitely happy. Fabulously cheerful. And even beachy! Your entire monochromatic creation conveys sunshine in every part! Wonderful splatters in the background that remind me of the beauty of the sun's life-generating possibilities. Great sentiment with the happiness theme, Donna! Cheerful, and so like you! xx
ReplyDeleteCAS perfection Donna, and it totally makes me smile with the sentiment and the lovely yellow!! Love it!! :0)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty with the stamped sun on your "chip"
ReplyDeleteLOVE that sun, it makes a perfect focal. Also love that you have popped it on a little yellow panel and then popped that on the white card base, it's really clever. And of course the "sunshine" greeting is really cool with the black shadow. The splatters are the perfect final touch as well!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, isn't this a ray of sunshine?? just like it's creator. I especially like the layered sentiment.
