Today's card will be entered into the Challenges at Altenew, Thailand--Photo Inspiration and Simon Says Monday, April Showers Bring May Flowers.
I used the Painted Poppy stamp and die set from Altenew. I was drawn to the colors in the inspirational photo the gold and blues and yellow. I took a Fabulous Frame die from PTI and die cut it from Toner Paper, added texture with a Diamond Embossing Folder.....then I added Gold Foil using my Mini Minc Machine. By adding the texture it cracked and distressed a bit of the Toner Paper, and after covering it in the Gold Foil it has that worn distressed aged look--LOVE it!
Stamped my sentiment in Tempting Turquoise ink and added a few random sequins. Tied it all together using a Sheer Yellow Ribbon.
Thanks so much for traveling through Thailand....no passport (or shots) required!
Enjoy~~
I can see the distressing on the frame in a close up of your card. Very nice touch and love the combo on blue, yellow and gold. I have been to Thailand and believe me it all glitters.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty my friend. Love the distressed look with the foiling and the wonderful color combo. That poppy really pops ;)
