I have a little water color card to share with you today. It will be entered into the following Challenges; Papertrey Ink, Create Along With Us April 2016, Power Poppy, Pick 3, WOW! Embossing Powder and Simon Says Monday, April Sowers Bring May Flowers.
I used the Papertrey Ink stamp set Vintage Linens and dies sets, Vintage Linens and Just The Jar, Quart size. I die cut water color paper and then stamped the blossoms and leaves outlines in Versa Mark ink and White Embossing Powder, heat sealed.
I was inspired by Melissa's cards hi-lighting Friendship Jar Of Flowers. Go check them out, you'll see how gorgeous they are!
Using 3 Dimensional Pop Dots I popped the blooms up at different points, thus giving some depth and dimension. The sentiment was stamped in Black Licorice ink on a MFT Stitched Traditional Tag. A sheer green ribbon tied in a knot for accent as well as a handful of iridescent sequins.
This may not qualify for the Power Poppy Challenge as I did not use 3 Copic Markers, but I did use only 3 Ink colors, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight and Wild Wasabi. When I 'water color' I just take my ink pads and open them up, using a water brush I add the ink to the inside cover of the pad and mix with water and proceed to paint.....works like a charm!
Thanks so much for popping in!
Enjoy~~
