Strawberry Jar

Good Morning!

Another birthday card to share with you today!

I used 2 stamps sets from Gina K Designs, Enjoy The Sunshine and Sweet Strawberries.  Believe it or not the strawberries are from Enjoy The Sunshine lol.  Using a Papertrey Ink Quart Jar die cut I stamped and colored my strawberries on it.  Then my Gal Pal, Nancy Leppek, shared this Sandy Allnock Video on how to make glass look like glass.  Now keep in mind, Sandy is an artist and I am not....AND this was my very first experience with this technique.

Designer Papers by Nicole, Oh Blooming.  Spellbinders Classic Circles die cut, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.  Sheer White Ribbon, Stampin' Up Twines, Enamel Dots, and Vellum.  White Craft Paint and Wink Of Stella Clear Pen.

It kind of looks like glass.....if you back up about 14 feet and squint!  Sandy, of course, made it all look super easy.....but isn't that what Artists do?

This card will be entered into the following Challenges;

Stamp TV, Sketch
Simon Says Wednesday, Happy Birthday
Simon Says, Work It Wednesday
Stamping Sensations, One For The Girls
Penny Black, Birthdays
ScrapyLand, Anything Goes!

Thanks for coming by, hope your day is sweet!

Enjoy~~

  3. Ooops! I spoke to soon! The google friend connect feature is not on your blog, and for some reason, Bloglovin does not find your blog for me to add it! If you feel up to it, perhaps you can add your blog to bloglovin? It is free, and you don't have to have their blog. I'd love to follow you! In the meantime, I'll subscribe by email. Huggers, de
