Lovely Birthday

Good Morning!

A simple little card to share with you today.  A pretty card.  A birthday card.

I used the stamp and die sets from Papertrey Ink, Daydreamer and Vintage Linens.  Stamping a leafy image in Antique Linen ink I created my background.  I then stamped the large blossom and 2 leaf images and die cut them.  Inks in Pink Pirouette and Wild Wasabi.  These images are a 2nd generation stamp, so I then topped them with Versa Mark ink and White Embossing Powder, heat sealed.

Tossed on a few 'randomly' placed iridescent sequins and the card was complete.

Simple.

Pretty.

Birthday.

I am entering this card in the following Challenges:

Papertrey Ink, Color Isolation
Simon Says Wednesday, Happy Birthday
Stamping Sensations, One For The Girls
Penny Black, Birthdays
WOW! Embossing Powders, Heat Embossing

Thanks so much for popping in!  Have a happy day!

Enjoy~~

  1. LOVE this....great take on the challenge, I can't wait to play. I really like how you did the background with the 2nd generation stamping and then heat embossing. And that pretty pink flower right in the middle is perfect. Gorgeous card...simple and elegant.

  5. It so much fun to see how soft you can create a background as you did here, and then have that pop of color. Love the Vintage Linens stamped flower. That is all it needs.
