Time For A Cuppa

Good Morning!  Happy Friday!

Well for some reason I thought there was a Challenge out there in the atmosphere where you had to use a Tea Cup.....but I was incorrect, it was just a lovely inspirational card creation.  Oh well. My card does use a tea cup!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Mod Squad Blog, Wheel In The Color, hosted by my very good friend, Judy Woodland and for the MFT Sketch

I used the colors from this section of the Color Wheel; Yellow-Green, Blue-Green & Red Columns.  The image is from the Grab A Cup stamp set from Flourishes (because I thought I was doing a Tea Challenge lol) colored with Copic Markers.    The Designer Paper is by S.E.I, Dill Blossom.  MFT Double Dot Border used inside and out.  A wee bit of ribbon, and a layer of Vellum, which gives the cup of tea a steamy effect.

A simple little card, flat.....for easy mailing, gotta love that!

Enjoy a cuppa whatever to get you going.

Thanks so much for coming by.....the kettle is still on!  ;)

Enjoy~~

  1. So gorgeous - you are becoming the vellum queen, making it look steamy is super cool. I love this look! This is one of my favorite images from Flourishes and I love the way you have colored it. Also love the stripe-y paper, great take on the challenge. Thanks for playing along this week at Mod Squad!!!!

  3. Gorgeous card as usual Donna! So clever to put vellum for a steam affect. I miss flourishes but so glad that Marcella is still selling her stamps!

  4. I was only missing in action for a day, and here you are mass producing beautiful cards. This one is so creative with the vellum cover. Love the soft look that it brings. You are the vellum queen as much as Kathy is the die cut queen. That was a compliment. Nice to be able to get in a couple of challenges.
