This is a fun little 'swing' card. I used the Master And Butterfly and Spring Parade stamp sets from Gina K Designs. I stamped the butterfly twice, once on each circle die cut, then sandwiched a little piece of fishing line between them. Spellbinders Classic Circle die and Lattice Embossing Folder used.
I colored the image with Copic Markers and then using Versa Mark Ink, Heat & Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, covered both images. This sparkles and shines like crazy! Adhesive Pearls also colored with Copic Markers---love doing that to match everything! Pumpkin Pie ink.
Cute little card for one of my cute little friends.
Thank you so much for coming by.....I love it when you do!
Enjoy~~
Gorgeous, simply gorgeous. I have never tried that swing card technique, but I have a little niece who is turning 3 soon and I might have to do something like this for her. I think your butterfly is fabulous, and I love that embossing folder. I thought you had scored it yourself. It's really awesome!!! And your card is stunning!!
ReplyDeleteStunning is right. This is just gorgeous!! The butterfly is absolutely beautiful. I had made some swing cards years ago and kind of forgot about them, thanks for the reminder

ReplyDeleteAmazing coloring job on the butterfly, and then she added glitter.... too sweet. I wish I could see it IRL. Love the CAS look and how the butterfly is the main image with the embossed BG. Great way to make the butterfly twirl as the card is opened.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card! The glitter on the butterfly is stunning and love the "swing" effect! Love it!
