Greetings From Cape Cod

Good Afternoon!

A few weeks ago I saw that Jenn Shurkus had designed 

her very own Cape Cod Stamp Set.

Within minutes I ordered it!

I surely think so!

As soon as it came in the mail I got it inky, oh so inky!  

I have made several Fun Fold cards using this fabulous set.

How Sweet Of You

Good Morning! 

A quick little post with a quick little Tag.

This will be entered into the Challenges at:

I made a layered Tag.  

The back layer has been embossed using the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.

My Tags were made using the Tutti Designs Stitched Tags dies.

Sentiment by Gina K Designs, Sweet Strawberries stamped in Amalgam Black ink.

Cheapo Dies, Love Machine.

Ribbon.

Twine.

Heart Button.

This came together quite easily.

I think I will go by The Chatham Candy Manor and pick up something a little sweet for my Mom for Mother's Day.....or her birthday, which fall on the same day this year, May 12th.

Hey There, Miss You

Good afternoon!

What a great day!  Spent some time with my Mom this morning, got out in the gardens and got some dirt under my nails....and then I had some time in the craft room getting ink under my nails.  A good day indeed!

To create my shaped card I used the Scallop Frames die from the PTI Shakers And Sprinkles Kit.

The stamp and die is also from PTI, Daydreamer.  The frames are held together using Baker's Twine.

Inks in;  Amalgam Black, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, 

Pink Pirouette, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, and Wild Wasabi.

Sentiments by Gina K Designs, Sweet Friendship and Doodle Sayings.

I had a little time to play yesterday.

I began stenciling my leaf background using a PTI stencil from the 

Shakers and Sprinkles Kit in Wild Wasabi ink.

The Power Poppy stamp sets, Go Wild! and Potted Primroses were stamped in 

Amalgam Black ink and colored with Copic Markers.

Tutti Designs Stitched Tags and MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle dies.

Sheer Ribbon.

Adhesive Pearls colored with Copic Markers.

I then added Glossy Accents to the Mason Jar filled with water.

Sunshine & Happiness

Good Afternoon!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at; 

Papertrey Ink, Favorite Coloring Technique

I used the PTI products, Flower Favorites stamps/dies 

and sentiment from Shakers And Sprinkles Kit.  After stamping my Lupines I took a Copic Marker and shaded a bit of each blossom, just to give it a bit more depth.  

I do love coloring with Copic Markers.

Kind of hard to see in the photos.

My background was water colored with Distress Oxide inks in 

Cracked Pistachio and Fossilized Amber.

I then spritzed Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Butter all over the water coloring.  

I also added a few water drops.

Inks in; 

Crushed Curry, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi.

Amy Design Picket Fence die.

Vellum.

Clear Embossing Powder.

Foam Dots.

A Little Sweetness

Good afternoon!

I made a little 3D 'crate' to add some Easter sweetness to.  I should have bought the little chocolate lambs, but went with my Mom's favorites, Reese's.

Double D, Black And White Only

Good Morning! 

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog. 

Here is your Inspiration Tile:

Here's my card:

I was drawn to the balloons and butterflies from the Mood Board.  

Using an Embossing Folder I dry embossed my background in a Happy Birthday Motif.

The balloons were created using the Impression Obsessions Birthday Balloon die.  

I sponged a bit of Dove Grey ink on the White ones to add a bit of dimension.

I 'planted' them into the Simple Garden Pots die cut by Memory Box, adding Baker's Twine strings.  The little butterflies were cropped using a Memory Box die, Butterfly Exhibit. 

A Vellum strip was heat embossed using Black Embossing Powder.  

Happy Birthday sentiment by Gina K Designs, Pleasant Plurals stamp set.

Inside stamp also by GKD, Happy Spring.

Amalgam Black ink.

This card came together rather quickly.  I'm somewhat amazed when that happens lol
