Masculine Birthday

Good Afternoon!

Back from vacation and well rested!  Somehow we managed to miss that week of deep freeze!  YAY!

I have made a simple Masculine Birthday card.  I still find them difficult to create, yet I keep trying.  This will be entered into the following Challenges;  Paper Smooches, Anything GoesSimon Says Monday,Winter BluesSimon Says Wednesday, Pattern PaperScrapy Land, Anything Goes and Stamping Sensations, Cold And Frosty Colors.

I used the Paper Smooches stamp sets;  Sentiment Sampler, Let's Party and the Foliage 2 die set.  I die cut several pieces of 'greenery' in many shades of blues; light blue, navy, teal and purple.  I layered them on top of each other on a panel of Designer Paper in gray and purple with polka dots.

My sentiment panel was die cut using the MFT Cross Stitched Rectangles die.  In Dove Gray ink I stamped the background 'bubbles' to correspond with all of the polka dots and the HB sentiment is stamped in Night Of Navy ink.  3 sequins added for accent.

You can see the bit of dimension, as I popped the sentiment panel up.

That's it.  Easy Peasy.

Thanks for popping in.

Enjoy~~

  2. So glad you're back but sorry you had to leave that beautiful, warm paradise only to come back to yet another deep freeze week. This card is fabulous ... what a great masculine design ... I think I'll have to case this one (ifin you don't mind that is). Stay warm and again ... welcome home!

  3. Wonderful masculine design for a birthday. I have trouble too with the masculine ones. I will need to pin this one, so when I do need one, I have a quick reference.
