It's About The Journey

Good Morning!

What a game last night!  Go Pats!!!

Woke up to a wintry mix.....blah!  So let's craft!

These cards will be entered into the Challenges at Stamp TV, Release Party Challenge--Lay It Out Both Ways and at Allsorts, No Pattern Paper.

I CASED these from Theresa Momber, she has a great tutorial you can see HERE!

I used the fabulous stamp sets Country Roads and Pleasant Plurals by Gina K Designs.
Images stamped in Raven Black ink and colored with Copic Markers.
Vintage Photo ink sponged all around. The truck was fussy cut out.

MFT Cross Stitched Rectangles die.
Both cards have been layered and focal panels set 'wonky' that!
A little WOS Glitter Pen to make the chrome and windows sparkle.
Destination sentiment also stamped on the inside of this one.

Great masculine cards, male/mail friendly!

Thanks for truckin' by!

  1. Great cards Donna! I'm loving that old truck image and your rugged masculine scenes. Stay warm!

  2. You can't go wrong making a masculine card with that stamp and sentiment. I love both of them

  3. Love the cross stitched panels to show off the images of the masculine rugged truck that is colored perfectly. The shading on the background around the trees, really makes a great card. Masculine for sure!

  4. These are awesome Donna and I too love those cross stitched panels. What a fabulous masculine design ... you go girl!!! Stay warm ... yes, we are to be hit by an Alberta Clipper today ... you know where you'll find me!! LOL

  5. I love these beautiful scene cards. The guys will love them. I love the wonky layers too.

  6. What lovely masculine cards with fantastic coloring in the background and images! I especially like your wonky layers, and the brownscape. They are wonderful cards, Donna! hugs, de

  7. Love this restful scene. Bet you had a ton of fun with these.

  8. Such gorgeous scenes you have created for these male cards, amazing colouring ;-) xx

  9. Love the scenes in both, great masculine cards, terrific coloring and shading!

  10. Fabulous masculine cards! I'm always looking for help in that area and most men love trucks! lol Love the colors too.

  11. Awesome cards, you are so brave to do these scenes. I am terrible at them and don't even try. I think that red truck is so stinkin' cool and I love your take on the challenge. Love the cross stitch panels and the wonky placement too. So conducive to the vintage-y look of the cards!

  12. Two lovely cards, it certainly is about the journey- lovely sentiment.
Thank you for sharing at Allsorts 'No Patterned Paper' challenge this week and good luck x Susan x

  13. Such a lovely scene. Thank you so much for entering our challenge at Allsorts this week.

  14. You have done a remarkable job on your scenery Donna! Honestly, I could never do that well! Fabulous cards!
