Pop Up Crib Baby Card

Hello again!

Now this card and matching envelope were a true labor of love!  You may have heard me mention in passing that I am going to be a first time Grandmother!  Yeah, I am sure I have mentioned it once or twice!  JOY!

I can now say that little Penelope Joy is due NEXT month! (perhaps sooner, one never knows for sure!)  Last check she weighed 5 pounds 10 ounces, has chubby cheeks and lots of hair!  She could even gain 1/2 a pound each week, over the last 6 weeks.  Insert squeals of JOY  < here >.

This will be entered into the Challenges at:  Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!, Simon Says Work It Wednesday, Fave Stamps , Simon Says Monday, Heavy Metal and Scrapy Land, Anything Goes!

So fun to decorate!
The lace reminds me of that little ruffle you tend to see on the backside of a baby's tights.  Awwwwwww..........

Back of envelope.

Complete with Giraffe Brad closure.....because Giraffes have Giraffes!

But let me just say....IT WAS SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!  We can't thank everyone enough for actually making the drive over the Bridge, we know we are not the most easiest destination to arrive at, but hopefully we made the journey worth it.  So many loving guests showed up and we are thankful.  Of course in planning any type of gathering we know last minute plans and things pop up and we totally understand.  Please know if you were on the guest list and couldn't make it you were missed.  And thank you to all of my online friends for your beautiful cards and generous gifts and well wishes!  This was such a happy Joyous occasion!
Love to you all, far and near!
xoxo

  4. Hi, Gramma Donna! Penelope Joy is one blessed little girl to be joining your family. The women in your clan seem very special, indeed. A new generation will be raised into loving womanhood, just like the rest of you. The baby show is beautiful! Such loving devotion was put into each element! What a fun time! It does my heart good seeing these Book Baby Showers. Very special and intimate. Your keepsake card was not the only “labor of love” here. Donna, I wish all things good for your dear PJ... and for the years of happiness your lovely family will enjoy. Thanks for sharing! xx
