Pop Up Crib Baby Card

Hello again!

Now this card and matching envelope were a true labor of love!  You may have heard me mention in passing that I am going to be a first time Grandmother!  Yeah, I am sure I have mentioned it once or twice!  JOY!

I can now say that little Penelope Joy is due NEXT month! (perhaps sooner, one never knows for sure!)  Last check she weighed 5 pounds 10 ounces, has chubby cheeks and lots of hair!  She could even gain 1/2 a pound each week, over the last 6 weeks.  Insert squeals of JOY  < here >.

This will be entered into the Challenges at:  Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!, Simon Says Work It Wednesday, Fave Stamps , Simon Says Monday, Heavy Metal and Scrapy Land, Anything Goes!

Front of envelope.
So fun to decorate!
The lace reminds me of that little ruffle you tend to see on the backside of a baby's tights.  Awwwwwww..........
Back of envelope.

Complete with Giraffe Brad closure.....because Giraffes have Giraffes!

Card fully opened.

But let me just say....IT WAS SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!  We can't thank everyone enough for actually making the drive over the Bridge, we know we are not the most easiest destination to arrive at, but hopefully we made the journey worth it.  So many loving guests showed up and we are thankful.  Of course in planning any type of gathering we know last minute plans and things pop up and we totally understand.  Please know if you were on the guest list and couldn't make it you were missed.  And thank you to all of my online friends for your beautiful cards and generous gifts and well wishes!  This was such a happy Joyous occasion!
Love to you all, far and near!

My 87 year old Mother made this Noah's Ark Birdhouse for Penelope.

Lori's Mother-In-Law, Colleen,  made that spectacular Diaper Cake with 200 diapers,
receiving blankets and sweet baby socks.  It was AMAZING!

The stuffed frogs are Tim's from when he was little.

That hamper was filled with Baby Clothes--yes I have a problem lol

A few fun games with some fun prizes.

Working hard for them!

We had 4 sweet little girls helping the happy couple out with gifts!

A beautiful sun shiny day on Cape Cod.

So many wonderful and thoughtful gifts.

The sweetest little girls and my only thought was, this is my future!  <3

The little ones were having so much fun helping!

Just adorable!

A good time was had by all!

I still say that J is a heart!

Colleen also is a wonderful baker!  Yum!
I did have a wonderful menu, but we forgot to take pictures of the food.

My 3 favorite ladies, Lori, Penny and my Mom, Edie!  <3
