CAS Christmas Cards

Good Monday Morning!

Back on the Dies R Us Blog again.  Today I want to share with you a couple of very clean and very simple Christmas Cards.  This is so not my style, but I thought I would show you how easy it really is to create a simple little Christmas card suitable for mailing, without extra postage, something I am not very familiar with.

Again I used this awesome Christmas Tree die from Die-Versions.  It was on Close Out back in August and I managed to snatch one up.

Any simple tree die would work for this technique.  There are many Christmas Tree Dies to choose from in our fabulous Dies R Us Store.  Pick out a couple for yourself!

On this card I used the positive die cut and just adhered them on to a piece of Red card stock, which was them mounted on to the Polka Dot Designer Paper.

This card uses the negative portion of the die cut, which I backed with that same Polka Dot Designer Paper, mounted on Red card stock and then adhered to the Striped Designer Paper.  If you line your dies up perfectly on measured card stock it makes it so much easier to create 2 cards at once.

These are super simple....super easy!  Quite out of my comfort zone.....I am heading back to my layers and accents.  lol

Check out the Forest of Christmas Tree Dies in our Dies R Us Store, you'll be happy you did!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Enjoy~~

  1. Both cards are fabulous, especially good for batch making too! I love the idea of using the negative and the positive, one way of getting better value from our craft stash, and perfect for keeping the postage costs down!

  3. Great use of negative and positive die cuts. It takes some planing for that. I would have had a bunch of trees and a bunch of scraps. Lol
Nice to have the CAS cards to send without extra postage.
