CAS Christmas Cards

Good Monday Morning!

Back on the Dies R Us Blog again.  Today I want to share with you a couple of very clean and very simple Christmas Cards.  This is so not my style, but I thought I would show you how easy it really is to create a simple little Christmas card suitable for mailing, without extra postage, something I am not very familiar with.

Again I used this awesome Christmas Tree die from Die-Versions.  It was on Close Out back in August and I managed to snatch one up.

Any simple tree die would work for this technique.  There are many Christmas Tree Dies to choose from in our fabulous Dies R Us Store.  Pick out a couple for yourself!

On this card I used the positive die cut and just adhered them on to a piece of Red card stock, which was them mounted on to the Polka Dot Designer Paper.

This card uses the negative portion of the die cut, which I backed with that same Polka Dot Designer Paper, mounted on Red card stock and then adhered to the Striped Designer Paper.  If you line your dies up perfectly on measured card stock it makes it so much easier to create 2 cards at once.

These are super simple....super easy!  Quite out of my comfort zone.....I am heading back to my layers and accents.  lol

Check out the Forest of Christmas Tree Dies in our Dies R Us Store, you'll be happy you did!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Enjoy~~

Christmas Tags

Good Sunday Morning!

On the Dies R Us Blog again today to share some pretty little Christmas Tags with you.

It seems we've all flipped the switch and moved directly into the Holiday Season.  So let's begin.

Back in August I bought this sweet little Christmas Tree by Die-Versions.  It was on Close-Out, which means it was at a ridiculously low price and only in limited quantities.  These are the things you should keep an eye out for at the Dies R Us Store.  Super Savings to YOU!

There are so many lovely Christmas Tree dies available, it's really just a matter of preference.
SO. MANY. CHOICES.

All of my tags incorporate a Scripted Word by Sizzix.
Here are a few wordy dies in the Store you might like:

All of my Tags were cut using the Stitched Traditional Tags by Die-Namics

I layered 2 of the tree die cuts and scored down the middle to create a bit of dimension.  I then cut Yellow card stock for the star topper.  2 Rustic Ribbons for accents.

This pretty little Tag uses the gorgeous Poinsettia  die by Impression Obsession.  Cut in Hot Pink, Light Pink and Vellum card stocks.  Adorned with Adhesive Rhinestones, Sequins and Pink Gingham Ribbon.

This fun Tag uses the fantastic Twilight Snowflake by Memory Box.

I cut several snowflakes out of White Glitter Paper, which is easy to do, as there are 4 snowflakes in this set as well as 2 different sized star centers.  I layered one using 5 of the die cuts, awesome dimension!  Added a few more around and some Glittery Ribbon to complete my look.

My last Tag uses the Holly Leaf by Cheery Lynn.  Look at the texture on the leaves themselves, so pretty!  Berries were cut from Red Glitter Paper and then I added a fab Christmas Ribbon.

Really so much FUN to make!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Enjoy~~
