Today's card was quite fun to make....well they all are! lol
I used the digital stamp, Dancing Daffodils by Power Poppy. I printed a few different sizes out a week or so ago, and let it dry forever. Then cut some of the smaller flowers out. I think they still smudged a bit when coloring with Copic Markers. The Polaroid frame is a Cameo cut file. Designer Papers by K & Company, Si Bon! Papertrey Ink dies, Swoosh and Phrase Play #5, which I trimmed the 'happy' out of. MFT Dotted Scallop Border die.
Liquid Pearls in Buttercup, Wink Of Stella (white--ordered the wrong one blah) and Swiss Dots Embossing folder. The 'happy' was placed under a piece of Vellum and the 'birthday' was placed on top of it.
This card will be entered into the following Challenges:
Power Poppy, Cut It Out.
Simon Says Monday, Anything Goes!
Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!
Thanks for dropping by, appreciate it when you do!
Enjoy~~
Besides absolutely beautiful, the description that popped into my head is kind of/sort of vintage. I LOVE it.
ReplyDeleteYou were a busy girl while I was off playing this weekend. Donna, I have to tell you that I just love how the flowers turned out. Even with the white Wink of Stella. It kind of looks like early morning dew on the flowers. Great card!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the look of this!!! Brilliant to use those flowers in that way, they are gorgeous. Love the way you used the vellum too. Just a really pretty card!!

This is so pretty! I love that background paper, and your flowers look great!!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful coloring and a clever and wonderful design! Love how you isolated just the periwinkle from the digi. Too bad about your printer ink smearing. I've been lucky in that regard. Thank you for joining our Power Poppy challenge, Donna!
