Birthday Wishes With Stencil

Hello!

What lovely weather we have been having.  Each day you can notice one more leaf unfurling, one more flower blooming, one more bird singing......it's just magical!  Ahhhhh!

Today's card will be entered into Challenges at Stamp TV, Stencil Me Pretty, Simon Says Wednesday, Inspiration Color Swatch and Mod Squad, Mix It Up (to use stamps from at least 2 different sets).

Simon Says Wednesday Color Swatch

I used 2 stamp sets from Gina K Designs, Signs Of Spring and Stamp It Big!  The fern stencil was placed on a center panel, trimmed with border stamps and covered with Vellum to soften the look.  Inks in Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette, Pool Party,Tempting Turquoise, and Tuxedo Black.

I love that cluster of leaves, I use it a lot for backgrounds and accents.  Here it is stamped in Pink Pirouette on white and blue card stock.  It also looks so lovely stamped in Antique Linen Distress Ink.  A bit of pink and white gingham ribbon.  Sentiment panel popped up on 3D dots.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Enjoy~~

  2. I love the use of vellum on this delightful card. Big Bold birthday wishes is perfect for it too. You are so right about the leaves, one of the nice background stamps and can be used as focal image too.

  3. Wow, great take on all three challenges. Love your stenciling and those colors. And that gingham ribbon is so cute - wonderful layers too. Lots going on but it all works so well together, especially that vellum.
