A Little Vino

Hello again!  Back with another card to share with you.

This card will be entered into the following Challenges; Papertrey Ink, Double Partial Die Cutting, Mod Squad, Tic-Tac-Toe and Simon Says Wednesday, Happy Birthday.

Here's the VIDEO to show you how to do the double partial die cutting.

And here is the Tic-Tac-Toe Chart from Mod Squad:

I used the Uncorked stamp and die set from Papertrey Ink.  I lined the 2 wine glasses and wine bottle up and secured them with removable tape until I could run them through my Cuttlebug.   Then I ran it back through using a Spellbinders Labels 8 die.  And then for some stupid reason I started trimming off the wrong part of the 1st template.  Grrr...so redid it in a wine card stock, which makes much more sense anyways.  lol

My Tic-Tac-Toe = Bottom Row......Patterned Paper-Dimension-Pearls

I used Glossy Accents to glue down a bunch of itty bitty star confetti, which I won from Simon Says, they make everything look like a party!  The top sentiment was stamped on a Perfectly Pierced die made by Spellbinders for Flourishes.  I covered my wine card stock with some Designer Paper, popped it all up on 3D dots, added a bit of ribbon and colored some small pearls using a Copic Marker.  Bravo Burgundy Ink.

I was a little bit intimidated when I first saw the video, but once....er the second time I cut my card stock I found it easy.

A really neat technique, give it a try.....lots are using a word die which looks AWESOME!!!

Thanks for popping in.

Enjoy~~

  1. OH MY GEEEEEEE!!!!! You are amazing! I would NEVER have thought to do that technique with those dies. I just used a word. I love, love, love this so much!!! Gluing down all those stars must have been so tedious - and it is over-the-top creative!!!!

  2. This is awesome!! It took me two tries, too ;). This would also make a great shaker card with that cute confetti. And the sentiment made me laugh out loud! Is it from the "Uncorked" set? I keep seeing cards I like with set, but I trying to resist... (But as they say in Startrek..."Resistance is Futile!"

  4. There is soooooo much I love about this card. The sentiment, the stars, that look like a shaker and a party all at once and the technique. You went outside the box on this one. I love the whole story it tells.

  6. Oh my gosh. This technique is hard with only one die cut and you chose to use three little ones instead of a big word die. Love it!!! I love what you did with the confetti .... it does look like a party. Truly an amazing job. Thanks for playing at the Mod Squad Challenge this week.
