Popping in with a little card I made for the MFT, Color Challenge.
I used the fun little stamp set by Reverse Confetti, Happy Harbor. It's full of sweet little images all beach, sea and harbor related. I stamped the anchor image all over the background card stock willy nilly. Then added a layer of vellum to soften the look, perhaps you could imagine the fog rolling in. The center die is by MFT, Vertical Greetings, I also used their Notched Border die on the inside. Spellbinders Classic and Scallop Circle dies. Stampin' Up! inks in; Calypso Coral, Tempting Turquoise, Dove Gray by Memento. Swiss Dots Embossing Folder to add some texture, a wee bit of Jute Twine knotted, eyelets and sequins to add accents.
A fun little card using a fun little set.
Hope you are enjoying this happy day!
Enjoy~~

Cute card! Your muted background panel with the vellum is awesome! I always have trouble with vellum because you end up seeing the adhesive. Great idea to use the eyelets - they look great and secure the vellum beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI love it. You SHORE made a beauty again. I love the way the vellum softens the background too.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute - you are right. It's a fun little card. I love how the vellum softens the background. Also love the stamped anchor image, really effective. Great color combo, and that was a challenge!!! You did it perfectly!!!
