Birthday Wine

Good Morning!  Yes we have more snow, yes the calendar says it's Spring and yes it is snowing again, RIGHT NOW!  Yes, these are the reasons I make so many cards, I just lock myself away in my craft room!

Today's card will be entered into the MFT Sketch Challenge.

This was a great sketch to play with.  I started with some pretty background paper, Teresa Collins, Hello, My Name Is.   I found a package of cork paper I had in my stash and cut that out using a Spellbinders Classic Circle die and topped with a Scallop Circle in white card stock.  The stamp and matching die set is Uncorked by Papertrey Ink.  MFT products, Blueprints #12, using the banner die and the 2 little dot dies (which I used under the 3 enamel brads).  Some vellum layered on both wine glasses  and over the long panel which is popped up on 3D dots.

Inside Sentiment

If this weather continues, I see a lot of wine in my future!  lol

Thanks for coming by, hope you are all actually experiencing a real Spring like day!

Enjoy~~

  1. Oh, I am lovin' this one !! How fitting to use "cork" paper on a wine card. Adding the velum was the perfect touch. The inside sentiment is my motto. lol

  7. The cork paper is perfect for the whole design, but I also love how you layered the scalloped white over it. It makes the wine glasses the center of attention. The background paper makes me feel like we are in a old Victorian lounge, with our wine glasses full. Love this!
